Entire Victorious soundtrack now available worldwide on Spotify
12-year-old me signed a petition for Nick to revive it. The cancellation was so weird because it came at the height of the show's popularity, but Columbia refusing to promote their Nick tie-in music probably contributed to why the show was axed. OT: The soundtracks are definitely fake uploads. Those covers are monstrosities

7 snippets from Dua Lipa's upcoming album surface online
Snippets 1-3 are great. The 4th one sounds like a DL1 reject. The 5th one sounds like it could be a cute bonus track. I like the 6th one, I'm interested to hear how a mastered one would sound like. The 7th is kind of too bare for me to have a solid opinion on it.

Madonna - 'CONFESSIONS II'
This is a fantastic album. I'm obsessed. Are there any edits linking COADF to this yet?
-
Ryan Beatty - 'Sweet Fortune'
This album is BEAUTIFUL. His voice has never sounded better too. Definitely in my top 5 of the year so far.

Sugababes haven't had a hit single in 16 years
They're independent artists and had to fight off label and management interference. Their rebrand to a touring act is very successful too. I wish Amelle the best of luck but I'm not sure she'll have more success. Her solo single was terrible and flopped even harder. Where did the Jingle Ball rumor come from? I can't find anything about it.

Brandon Flowers - 'THRASHER'
I really love his persona. He carries himself in a way that doesn't conform to toxic masculinity. It's pretty refreshing
-
Ellie Goulding - 'I Know Too Much'
Oh, right. I forgot about that because of the Four Seasons performance
-
Sabrina Carpenter - "House Tour"
This is such a fun song. I love it so much. The Coachella performance made it one of my all-time Sabrina favorites.

Ellie Goulding - 'I Know Too Much'
I can see her moving to BMG when her contract with Polydor is done. But what's also frustrating is Interscope not moving a finger for her. She had pretty respectable success in the US pre-COVID. You'd think they'd at least get her to show up on a late night show

Madonna & Sabrina Carpenter - "Bring Your Love"
Love the video mix. Serving TIC QSound mix realness

Taylor Swift
Adding to the discourse on TTPD tracklist edits, I made a version of it amalgamated with the good parts of Showgirl. In my headcanon sometimes, this is her 11th studio album (The Fate of Ophelia). Fortnight (feat. Post Malone) The Fate of Ophelia Down Bad Elizabeth Taylor So Long, London Opalite I Can Do It With a Broken Heart Guilty as Sin? Ruin the Friendship Florida!!! (feat. Florence + the Machine) Father Figure The Black Dog imgonnagetyouback Honey The Life of a Showgirl (feat. Sabrina Carpenter) Physical CD-only deluxe tracks that get put on streaming a few months later, just like the old days: The Albatross So High School Wi$h Li$t Wood (clean version) The Bolter Clara Bow

Ellie Goulding - 'I Know Too Much'
It's not. The lyric video for Black Prada Dress shows footage from the photoshoot.
-
Malcolm Todd - 'Do That Again'
This album is solid as hell I love Audrey's music more but he's getting pretty close. Great aesthetics too
-
Olivia Rodrigo - 'you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love'
maggots for brains and the cure are Gen Z classics She has such a gift for making songs that feel like soundtracks to your life
-
Taylor Swift - “I Knew It, I Knew You”
The updated single cover is definitely a nod to the 20th anniversary edition of debut. I'm so excited to hear those childhood classics come back to life

Ellie Goulding - "Black Prada Dress"
A big music video for Destiny then nothing for this one I always stan the artists who never get label support

Ellie Goulding - 'I Know Too Much'
Codes should have followed On My Mind, and Holding on for Life shortly after. Those two follow-ups would have been top 15-20 hits in the US and probably solid top 10s in the UK. Both of these songs had that soundscape people were looking from her back then. She could have waited until later in the album cycle to release Army. She made a big pop record without wanting to commit to it. The trap singles in 2019-2020 were attempts to chase the lost potential of the Delirium songs, but her voice is just not suitable for those songs. Close to Me is one of the most clunky songs I have ever heard. If the album cycle was better for Delirium, her return to form with BB would have allowed her to solidify her fanbase instead of killing it. HTH would have been seen as a natural merging of her electronica sound withe pop bangers. Ugh her career is so frustrating because she really had a unique flare to her that people loved in the early 10s.

Ellie Goulding - 'I Know Too Much'
I think the reason why BB and HTH get shat on is because she also doesn't look back at them fondly. They are absolutely cohesive and solid bodies of work. if she stood by them more I think most of the fanbase would have a better outlook at them.

Ellie Goulding - 'I Know Too Much'
You know what...
- Should Kylie make a whole album like "Cowboy Style"?

Lorde debuts a brand new song to open her Governors Ball set
She does this every era. Perform a new song and then never release it. PH - Good Fights Melodrama - Precious Metals Solar Power - Invisible Ink, Silver Moon
-
Taylor Swift - “I Knew It, I Knew You”
I'm predicting 7-8m and it'll probably be more stable throughout the week
-
Ellie Goulding - 'I Know Too Much'
Destiny's not on it (based on the pre-add). I'm annoyed because it easily could have been 11 tracks with Destiny as the closer. Lol I just hate it when great singles become orphaned. She put Flux on BB, so why couldn't she have done the same here? This reminds me of Zara relegating All the Time to a Japanese bonus track for Poster Girl. Still very excited for the album, though. I hope there's a Japan or Target bonus track (none of that exclusive vinyl BS please)

Taylor Swift - “I Knew It, I Knew You”
I predict that this one will sound like dorothea

Ellie Goulding - "Black Prada Dress"
Oh my god this is AMAZING This is literally a Halcyon-era type song with a huge buildup to an explosive chorus! And the lyrics are reminiscent of her early days too, the way she used to be able to paint a story with the verses
