Why does her surprise releasing a single seem sorta plausible?

There's no real benefit to foregoing pre release singles for the TVs. There isn't a surprise element as to their sound. Releasing a dedicated single could help her easily secure a number 1. IKI,IKY dropping out of country radio to make way for I'd Lie…putting my nose on, girls!
