Nicki removes Barb from live for dickriding
"There is no joy in the accumulation of accolades" Nicki before she stopped being successful: "You mad 'cause I'm at the Grammys with the Vatican" (Roman Reloaded, 2012) "I'm still the highest sellin' female rapper for the record" (Truffle Butter, 2014) "I'm still gettin' plaques from my records that's urban" (Feeling Myself, 2014) "Yeah my tours be sellin' out on presale day" (Pinkprint Freestyle, 2016) "Just a nick of time I did the cover of TIME" (Don't Hurt Me, 2016)

SYG: 2026
The sex book was absolutely tacky Setting aside the positive elements w/ sex positivity, a lot of the material was definitely just shock value, especially the texts (one of which being outright pedophilic). Her mid-late 2010s behavior with the various instances of black cultural appropriation was also extremely tacky and "how do you do, fellow kids?"-like

The Guardian: "Olivia stands up for the vulnerable. I wish Taylor Swift did the same"
Everybody keeps saying "Olivia donated, why didn't Taylor?" and it's driving me ******* crazy That $10m was from a fundraiser with over 14 artists, not including guests. It is heroic and worth commending, but it's factually not a personal donation from Olivia herself, it was a group effort. And this same year, Taylor celebrated her wedding by donating $26m to food banks, educational/literacy programs, and children's hospitals in one fell swoop.

- Miley - 'Bass Persuades'
I keep seeing random people claim that this record is an identity crisis and that Miley has one with every album. I don't get it though. I feel like her identity as an artist has been a lot more consistent and smooth than a lot of her peers, especially since Plastic Hearts I swear, people will not let go of the Dead Petz -> Younger Now rebrand and will generalize every new era as being similar to that.- Will Taylor perform at next year's Daisy Chain?
No, but judging by Eli's inclusion this year, I'm sure the next artist to use Taylor hate for attention will be getting an invite from Ms. Rodrigo!- Are listening parties a scam?
Frankly only a part of the gay community knew & cared about the (still evil) Dr. Luke situation, and the dumb Blue Origin spaceflight happened later. People hated Woman's World because of its assumed-AI lyrical content and being at least a decade late with its approach to feminism. The other music was also extremely bland. The only songs that anyone remotely enjoyed were I'm His and Wonder, and not enough for them to be hits.- Are listening parties a scam?
I think it was interesting when Taylor did it the first couple times, when it was a whole event with fans literally going to her house. Obviously that's an insane security risk that she & other artists will probably never do again, but it's cool to think about. Nowadays you just see a tweet that's like "Grace McLady held a listening party for her album last week" accompanied by extreme praise & vague sound descriptions that don't end up being true in the slightest. And then everyone moves on
