Slayyyter praises Sabrina: "Espresso is a perfect pop song that breaks the formula"
Maybe you'd better listen to somebody else then. Sabrina's not an electropop artist. She's clearly positioning herself as more of a zillennial Dolly Parton with the girly country/synth vibe, and Jack's production is working for that

Amanda Lear: "Thank You Miley for copying my song"
- Miley Cyrus less acclaimed discography than Hannah Montana in AOTY, Why?
Hannah Montana has childhood nostalgia bias for most pop fans, and Miley growing up was subject to a lot of public scrutiny and alienated a lot of people. It's really that simple There's no reason that Meet Miley Cyrus should have a lower user score than the early Hannah albums, other than it being obscure enough that people don't have the same nostalgia bias for it- SYG: 2026
Because someone making a hyperbolic insult on Stan Twitter is not news Thread only existed as bait to complain about Swifties anyway- Beyoncé looks sensational at JAŸ-Z's HBO series premiere
She looks very pretty here. I will pretend her date and the event subject don't exist- Addison vs. Day and Night
The one made by a renowned musician and not just a TikTokker with hyperpop cred- Taylor Swift
Yeah, I do believe the Debutation pairing means something, but I don't think it means same day release. She was also hinting at Speak Now and 1989 as a pair for a long time, and the outcome was them being released 3 months apart with identical announcements on the same tour- Is pop culture the least exciting it's ever been?
I love Taylor, but it has REALLY become a pet peeve for me whenever people rewrite history to associate "era" with Taylor, say that Swifties originated it, or even say that she's the definitive example of having them. (I would personally argue that Gaga has the most distinct eras.) Even in a recent lawsuit (which Taylor deserved to win, don't get me wrong), her attorney pointed out the use of the word "era" as an example of something distinctly related to Taylor Pop fans have been using that word in that way for 1-2 decades at least- Its time to listen to Free Woman (demo) again
- Madonna & Charli xcx - "Danceteria" (Afterhours Mix)
This collab makes sense, but also why Danceteria specifically The lyrics of that song are extremely specific to an era & scene that Charli wasn't around for. Unless we're about to get a Charli verse about PC Music associates or something- Poptimism is over. Streams are down. But she still triumphed. Why?
Poptimism doesn't really interact with how Olivia is perceived I feel like she actually appeals more to people who hate girly popstars i.e. Taylor, Sabrina. She gets more credibility because of rock/alternative associations, in addition to rivalries with those exact 2 artists.- DailyMail: Super Bowl halftime show in crisis, Jay-Z might do it himself with friends
Can Roc Nation's contract with the NFL please end already? I'm tired- Lara clarifies none of the Manon's rumors are true
All she's saying is that there's no animosity between them and Manon/Sophia. I doubt they're allowed to address HxG mistreating Manon or anything of that nature- SYG: 2026
I think he actually started as a singer and then he became a YouTuber for attention before his career took off- Why do the gays support Troye but not MNEK?
I don't really care for either right now (I drastically prefer the more grounded non-club music that Troye was doing earlier in his career) That said, why do some of you think an artist is automatically superior, or more worthy of success, if they have vocal talent? That doesn't really say anything about the music they make, and most of us listen to acts who don't have particularly impressive vocals, like Britney, Taylor, Charli, etc. - Miley Cyrus less acclaimed discography than Hannah Montana in AOTY, Why?
