the discography rate says different it is top 10 taylor songs though.

songs like the manuscript, cassandra, YOYOK, and would've could've should've are so beautiful for this exact reason. honestly i'll let the dogs shred my girl apart if ts13 is similar to showgirl, ive been thinking about this album since evermore. i think the re-records made her reflect a lot, hence why we got the reflective songs i mentioned before, but i need her to really push herself and not disappoint us. let's hope it's her lover —> folklore moment right now. the PR statement to people mag makes me think that the album is lyric focused, and i'm lowkey expecting it somewhat soon. showgirl would've been done in may/june of 2025, and it's been a year and a half. we know she's busy atm but she naturally cannot stop making music, and the re-records won't take up that much of her time

yeah i think a lot of evermore primarily fell into that category, meanwhile most of folklore was really just her mind running wild

girl what you're literally the only person here that's mad at what i'm saying while every other swiftie is having a normal discussion and you're literally the only person here who's admitted to not listening to TLOAS "for months" so i genuinely like it a lot more than you, and that message was probably aimed at you and again, i don't mind the deluxe songs, my argument is that it just wasn't needed and just hurt her grammy/oscar campaign even more. look at the metacritic score. and yet that is somehow so offensive to you (someone who doesn't like TLOAS) she was a laughing stock during TLOAS release, and just when she got her goodwill back, she came back and dragged the era out to be a laughing stock once again. say goodbye to the IKI,IKY oscar nomination and possibly ophelia grammys because everyone is laughing at this, especially cleveland

no because lost weekend production is absolutely PHENOMENAL! the production choices are all taylor's fault tbh. like if you listen to the MBOBHFT piano voice memo the stripped back traditional production works sooo much better. but then she interrupts at the end talking about a synth beat. meanwhile, i think jack's natural instinct would be something similar to lana's COTCC

we'll be perched for how she manages to scatter "new heights" throughout the album

when i listen to the album im like okay this is pretty good, but like if i stuck foolish one (a scrap) or the very first night (a scrap) on to the album, it would stick out like a sore thumb it's like when you compare it to her other works it's bad, but if u just listen to it by itself it's fine. so it's just like bad for her standards imo but it's generally a solid album

chi we're never getting fictional stories again after we clocked some of them were not so fictional

in my head the album should be her reflecting on 13 pivotal moments of her life, something like midnights but certainly bigger and better that means we'll get like the 50th kimye track though it peaked with cassandra

i like it too, but in the same breath i can acknowledge that it is certainly weaker in many aspects compared to her other albums. and ofc we can all have our personal tastes, im sure someone here thinks its her best, but we can't pretend like it isnt her worst received album by the public and her fans
