    The Lorde we need. Melodrama was so big and so endlessly ripped off by other artists that it feels kinda phony to go back to it.

    Definitely could've been on Melodrama. I like it, but it lacked something. I felt the same way about Green Light, but ended up loving the album. Here's hoping.

    Eh, personally think it's just okay. But tbf I felt the same with Green Light too and now I love it.

    this is amazing :jonny5: with the snippet and the live performance yesterday I thought it sounded a lot like Supercut but scratch that, this is actually quite different! it's got a similar chord progression but the tone is far more aggressive and confident sounding than Supercut or pretty much anything on Melodrama for that matter! I think the red on her shirt in the cover really makes sense with this song. this sounds like a hit I hope she deservedly smashes with it!
