Don't go in that direction, Lana is something different at this point, no one is doing music like her, so shut up

This is great! I didn't expect the slower start to the song after listening to the snippet. Now announce the album!

This feels like an unpolished (production wise) of Green Light! Like she made different lyrics around the green light beat and edited it with less stuff added

I don't hate it, just going on the record it feels like that to me. It's prob mainly the synths for me but I love how much more.... mature, I guess, it sounds? Or just unpolished a bit whatever

This is gonna sound so good driving around in the summer with my windows down!

this is empress of's gig, but I don't mind it

is this produced by jim-e stack?

in a way it reminds me of when I'm with him... turns out it's the same two producers :skull:

Kinda the best song released this year by a pop girl!

Shocked Dev Hynes didn't produce!

I will say too that the video does not do the song justice at all smh

You can thank Jim-E Stack for that.  King made this excellent song a while ago too

Liked this on first listen but the video sold it for me. :bird:Love the brutalist electropop vibe. Sounds a little avant with the production.

Everything released so far feels kinda anti-aesthetic which would be a cool direction for the era imo.

And to me it feels like a progression from SP. It has exactly the same spareness as a guideline. If SP made use lf its bareness with simple and stable instrumentation, this one has a hollow feeling even with multiple things happening at once (but not that much). I can see a connection between this SP calmness and stillness becoming a form of emptiness as a style on the studio and informing the marketing aestehtics (the website, the pictures, the mv)
