  1. Scott and Kip did. I liked Heated Rivalry. I think there are interesting features in the dynamic between the two main characters (e.g., Shane's autism for instance). However, there have been many more interesting and compelling examples of MLM relationships on screen in recent years, a couple of examples include Nick/Charlie from Heartstopper and Bill/Frank from The Last of Us.
  2. Reminder that none of Elon Muskโ€™s predictions have worked out.
  3. Given her history of touting progressive values, it is so pathetic and disappointing to see her unable to acknowledge the horrors happening in Gaza and defend oppressive force that is actively slaughtering the Palestinian peopleโ€”while she wrote an entire song calling out George Bush for invading Iraq.
  4. I've thought about a matter that is somewhat related to this. For instance, I've always despised the phrase, "She's still beautiful on the inside." I really only hear this said about women. It is as if a woman can have no value unless she is "beautiful" in some way. Her value cannot come from her confidence, her intelligence, her endurance, her humor, her gumption, her suave, etc. We're able to describe the value of men with a more diverse vocabulary; but, women must always be "beautiful" to some extent, if not on the outside then on the "inside". Social media obviously only worsened this because people chase validation. But, men do this too (e.g., gym selfies).
  5. More or less the same as I felt about it when it came out. Itโ€™s a disappointment compared to Melodrama. Itโ€™s still her worst album. However, there are some fantastic songs on it and it has its place (e.g., genuinely works amazingly for a chill beach day if you live near the beach).
  6. Things that didnโ€™t happen for $200.
  7. The idea of doing anything with a woman... downstairs makes me physically recoil. So... ๐ŸŒŸ
  8. This should have been obvious. Honestly, for Democrats to secure a meaningful majority (based on what we know now), they have always needed to assume Fetterman was going to switch parties because he is truly a Democrat in registration only. Any decisive vote will have him flip to line up with the Republicans, giving them the majority, even if the Democrats technically have a 51-49 majority.
  9. Demanding a senate candidate to admonish people on the Internet for criticizing the politician you like is a childish demand. Theyโ€™re free to make it. But it looks ridiculously silly.
  10. I donโ€™t support it in any scenario. Even for the most cartoonish example of an evil person (e.g., a mass murderer, a serial rapist), they should just stay in prison for life. Once you start saying โ€œyesโ€ to whether the government should be allowed to murder people, you are extending a power no organized group should have. Just let them sit in prison (this is also cheaper!).
  11. No. I donโ€™t support the death penalty at all. No government should have a โ€œrightโ€ to kill people.
  12. Whatโ€™s scarier is she stayed at the same inn as me and my dad. I swear that woman will forever haunt me even though I donโ€™t live in KY anymore.
  13. Iโ€™m on vacation and I just saw Amy McGrath wearing a Kentucky hat. Did I stop and stare in confusion? Yes! Thatโ€™s all.
