haven't listened to Dancefloor & Motivation in full yet (saving them for the album) but Dancefloor's snippet sounded like a parody of her own quintessential style and Motivation's snippet sounded corny to me. and yes M did remind me of Lifetimes by Katy a bit which is just- On Wires was okay at best for me & After All sounded like the best pre-release but also a bit empty at parts so... i hope the rest of this album delivers something much much better than these pre-releases...

she's had such a fantastic year so far and i couldn't be happier for her i've been enjoying this era since day 1 and LOS is easily one of my AOTY contenders!! + she'll dominate my Spotify Wrapped this year lol

watching the Q&A she did at the listening session rn. while answering a question she mentioned a song that captures the phrase "don't worry baby, it's only pain". apparently a heavy metal one? she then went: "it might show up later on... so i probably shouldn't have said it out loud. who knows..."
