Revisiting Adele's '30'
if i remember correctly, Oh My God was getting the biggest streams as an album track during the album release so that's why they went with it. and i think it debuted inside Top 5 on BB Hot 100 as well.

Is Miley Cyrus a legend?
yes, she actually is. she has achieved the kind of success & had generational impact at such young age that feels like a rare feat. she was an mpg wayyyyy before her alleged peers were even able to touch top 10 on any chart. she dominated the industry way before many of the artists that are being talked about today. sadly, her success doesn't get enough Flowers.m4a. her artistry is very underappreciated and she herself is still very much underrated. i'm going to need those who voted No to take off their...

Pitchfork reviews HOLE's third album, Celebrity Skin
this was the defining album of the COVID era for me. i discovered their music thanks to Miley covering 'Doll Parts' during the PH era and i immediately fell in love with it. Celebrity Skin has been my #1 favorite album of theirs ever since. Malibu is also one of my favorite songs ever. oh and this along with their first 2 albums deserve 10s.

Olivia Rodrigo - 'you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love'
her serving multiple "best song ever" moments here... cigarette smoke, purple, HONEYBEE..... cigarette smoke's last minute, purple instantly grabbing your attention with it's creepy nature + the song ending with the word "sad" before leading the album into the 'you seem pretty sad" side, honeybee instantly being her saddest song to date etc. etc. there are so many peak moments in this album. i love getting to witness her progression throughout the years. you can clearly see how the songwriting, vocal delivery and the production has gotten so much better since GUTS. she's been improving herself since her debut and this album definitely will help her carve a different lane of her own, distancing herself from the other "current gen-z pop girlies". she's in a league of her own, sorry not sorry i'm loving this.
