Been replaying the album a few times, listened to it in full (minus #those 3 tracks, des flops, idiot and dookie) and I am suprised to say... it might rank as my 3rd favorite?? The songs work way better in the context of the album and it feels more cohesive than God Femme to me because this one is more straight forward with the techno bops whereas DF feels weird with the SG Lewis collabs tacked in the middle. This feels like an album album! And I ADORE the production (although some songs sound weirdly incomplete with how short they are) GOD LO NEVER DISAPPOINTS! Final Destination 3. Granted, not really scary, more focused on the blood and gore. Must've watched it when I was 7 or 8 so I was sentient enough to know it was movie magic not actual people dying. Still, the tanning bed scene got my ass, something about the blue light, the girls googles, all the screaming, the thrashing as they were trapped, the burning (incredible sfx for 2006). Terrifying.

I found it a really cute album but people are having mixed feelings about it it has some really short songs so you can probably learn them by tomorrow nnn

Whew, first Tove now Carly. 24 songs is a LOT. Very cohesive and really love the sound. For now here are my favorites/the ones that really left an impression in the first few listens. source of life (does that mean she wants to have a baby?) I'm glad I read the reviews first and lowered my expectation because this was way better than I expected! So many bangers. High highs, low lows. Definitely would place this above SK which is still my least favorite. I LOVE the sound she went for but, like others here, I wish these songs sounded more "complete" and weren't as short. But I definitely think people are doing TOO much. Remove I'm the cake, Idiot and Roomie and it's a pretty solid record!
