so I'm 29 (gonna be 30 in January) and I got an extremely drastic haircut back in June (that my sister touched up in July when we were in Cape Cod) and so I'm actually feeling way more confident consistently than I maybe ever have in my entire life. I work out consistently and not only is this one girl I've been hanging with super into me but I'm also going on a date with this handsome dude on Thursday. I'm beginning to live the bisexual dream I've always dreamed of. also I'm convinced I haven't even reached my peak yet. I was a cute twink when I was like 18-22, a decent looking otter who was kinda weighed down by his long hair from 23-29, and now at 29 and a half I'm finally the handsome and GROWN man I've always wanted to be. I've gotten more attention from the ladies irl in the past 2 months than I have since I was in high school. I look at photos of myself from when I was younger and I hate how my chin and my nose looked, how skinny my arms were… everything's finally filled out and I can finally, assuredly, say that I see myself in the mirror and I think "handsome and manly." sure, I will probably be cursed with having "oh look at Joe, he is so obviously the youngest brother in his family!" syndrome til the day I die, but that's what it's like being a 5'6 optimist and dork. I still finally feel handsome and i feel like my 30s are gonna be my best decade yet! the Joe being a stud era has only just begun my advice is pretty simple: find what makes you happy. fake that confidence til you make it. keep going to the gym. sometimes you're gonna need to force yourself to seize the day but you'll never look back and regret that you did it. humans are peaking way older than they used to also
