Ofcourse, but as decades go by just as what happened to Eartha Kitt, their fanbase gets smaller and they become more of a "relic" in time. I wonder if in 50+ years many pop girls will face the same fate and a just few stans from their time + a few later on ones will be the ones single-handedly keeping their legacy alive.

To put this into perspective I wonder if in 50-60 years Beyonce/Gaga/Rihanna/Katy/Adele/etc's labels will release random compilations with an unreleased song or two and nobody will care but a few random old gay stans online while the young ones laugh at them and act confused Could very well be a possibility, crazy how time changes everything

USE THE B'DAY FONT Why remove songs that were previously on the album for an "ultimate anniversary edition"

Okay so clearly I was right she wasn't working on some elaborate B'Day Anniversary for 4 years + that this collab doesn't exist and was simply a database error.

A mega bop, I bought it on iTunes back in the day. Never understood why it wasn't bigger — it was a mature sound for them & sounded on par with the Kings of Leon/The Fray sounding Alt-Pop at that time. I guess it was because their hype was dying down as a commodity and they were about to go on hiatus

And again, my question is for women who freely choose to work with him this decade knowing all the information publicly available on him why exactly are we supposed to position them as disillusioned victims Kim & Doja I can have some level of understanding for as they began working with him in 2010s right as information and backlash was beginning to become big. However any of these new current girls?… It's like painting Chris Brown as the issue for working with tons of new/thriving artists of today instead of placing blame/accountability on the other artists for actually willingly rushing to do it. And no, I don't really care about how "poor" or "struggling" they were. Many poor and struggling artists would still not choose to work with very publicly alleged abusers to get ahead. And those that do choose to do so should very well understand the lack of sympathy they'll have if things go wrong or turn sour.

The problematic practice of a young female artist being pushed into a record deal is more of a larger music-industry discussion than a Dr. Luke's label discussion. Britney, Rihanna, Aaliyah, Mariah, Xtina, Miley, Demi, etc were also pushed into the music industry machine at a much younger age and were put consistently in some innapropriate situations and were sexualized. As for these girls working with him in 2026 with literally all this public information there's only so much victimhood I'm willing to go along with lol. If you choose to work with him in this climate, it's like purposely choosing to collab with Chris Brown then trying to play victim after. If it was absolutely your choice to sign with him and you freely chose to after all of his drama then at some point you need to take accountability for your action.

This is the same with mostly every other artist that has been signed except for the nepo-babies though. Most of them were struggling, broke, and obviously didn't have good jobs before being signed to a label. Also his label is not a major label, so naturally it isn't going to attract artists who already have tons of money/resources or hype. Those labels usually have to specifically find underground talent

I mean anyone with a label for Pop music would be constantly signing fresh young artists because that's the genre audience. Is he supposed to find the next Susan Boyle

Unholy era, and no it wasn't just the flamboyance of Sam but also the whole anti-Christ schtick during that single. I have some family members that aren't conservative by any means, but were annoyed with the era of Lil Nas/Sam Smith/Doja doing all the Satanic imagery just to be edgy. All of their careers completely tanked after they did that and a lot of the backlash was with non-conservatives who found them to be disrespectful and attention craving.

Why is the sole indicator of quality hits for some of you just if they're a female artist or male artist. Half the songs on that list are bops that are definitely more enjoyable than the Ella Langley clutter in the top 10 In no way are songs like HUMBLE & Sign of the Times worse than Boston or IKIIKY either

If anything the fact a second hand seller sold them immediately proves Apple is indeed purposely phasing them out / under stocking them. They are not expensive to warrant trying to find a cheap second-hand seller online, it makes more sense to just get them through Apple or a physical store. The fact people have to resort to buying a $15~ earbud from a random stranger online means they had a hard time finding them anywhere else. These are a product that has been out for over a decade, there's no reason for them to be out of stock when Apple has more than enough data on their demand at this point.

It's the exact opposite for me. Apple's wired earbuds HURT my inner ears after a few hours because they do not have the ear tip sets that AirPods have. It literally feels like something is being jabbed in my ear eventually. AirPods tbh >>> Their only damn flaw is how easily they can get lost.

I think Apple is purposely phasing out their wired earbuds bc last month I went on vacation and left my AirPods at home, went to 3-4 Targets & Walmarts and the wired earbuds were out of stock at ALL of them Like they can't be that in demand in 2026.
