  1. sorry babe, I don't like the chorus. it's always felt lazy to me, personally. I understand why people like that song, but it's always been the weak point of the album to me. just my opinion
  2. realistically um… no, I don't think so owls are the only animals I can think of that I may love more than humans. otherwise, it's humans and the verbalized emotional complexity we're capable of over other animals.
  3. Masseduction, Norman F*cking Rockwell!, Folklore I'd say Melodrama is a close 4th, and Did You Know… is a close 5th. I don't love The Louvre from Melodrama (I also don't love his production on This Is Me Trying off of Folklore but the rest of the album is just too damn good) and there are a few songs on Did You Know… that don't always pique my interest, but yeah overall those are the clear 5 best albums here imo. Daddy's Home and Dance Fever, respectively, range from magnificent (Down and Out Downtown, Live in the Dream, The Melting of the Sun, Down, Free, Choreomania, My Love, The Bomb) to kinda eh (Daddy's Home, …At the Holiday Party, King, Girls Against God) i.e. the sort of Jack stuff that feels a bit phoned in. Sling, Solar Power, and Tortured Poets all suffer from the eh stuff even more. Chemtrails and Midnights both have very cute moments. Man's Best Friend is probably my fav Sabrina album atp so it'd be my #6 here, sorry St. Vincent (Daddy's Home would be close at #7). haven't listened to Vie yet. last to get to but certainly not least, that Phoebe album… it's really great but I need more time for it to grow on me. too early to call it yet for me. don't know where I'd put it as of now
  4. I reaaaaaally need to start cooking again and start making crazy Italian huge sandwiches and crockpot buffalo chicken dip again cause my current hyperfixation is going to all of the fast food Mexican restaurants around town that are all 24 hours and getting carne asada tortas which are always overpriced but are usually phenomenally delicious. so slay a bit but omg Joe be MORE RESPONSIBLE WITH UR MONEY FOR THE LOVE OF GDO
  5. ugh sometimes. I ascribe to a philosophy of rotating fixtures. I don't want to seem like someone who just hops around but I like to take lessons from different beliefs. I can't be fully religious in any traditional sense cause so much sh*t about the organized religion I grew up being forced into (Judaism) really f*cked me up for my young adulthood. I like some parts of nihilism cause I like hedonism and living for the moment and knowing that sh*t can be meaningless but I'm such a smiley guy at the same time. I'm all over the place lemme write more when I'm not in the middle of hammer incline curls
  6. exactly lol this was my first ever Tori show and that lady who offered to get me a box of wine and then mysteriously disappeared was like "how old are you? 20? how long you been listening to her??" and I was like "lolll I'm 29! I been listening to her since 2018ish" and she's like "give it to me straight: you actually love her? that's so cute" like yaaa duh? I love talented, beautiful, strong, funny women, Tori is like the epitome of all of that
  7. definitely studmaxxing, Joemaxxing, chaosmaxxing, bendermaxxing, and fuckledeeducklemaxxing (I'm a pro at vocal stims)
  8. this is cute as hell! sorta her Love You For or her Keep It Together moment I definitely prefer this to Don't Leave Me on the Dance Floor, I think the runtime does this a favor that that one doesn't get, but for me, After All is still the clear best song of the era so far! After All (Carly all-timer) > On Wires > Motivation > DLMotDF
  9. oh christledeedistle lemme listen now cause y'all's reactions have got me perched hehehehehhe
  10. went to the red rocks show and not only did three different milfs keep smiling at me (one asked me if I wanted a drink and said she'd get me a juice box of wine and never came back homegirl was drunk so I hope she got home safe… and another one shared several joints with me and then put her number in my phone) but Tori played Silent All These Years, Mary, and Precious Things back to back to back and then Bouncing Off Clouds during the encore and it was magnificent honestly a really great show, my only complaint is that she didn't do Cornflake Girl!
  11. nonetheless excited and the cover looks sexy in black and gold
  12. Undercover, What I Wanted, and Runaway are suddenly gone? ooookay girl
  13. I miss her omg I was obsessedddddd with Dorian and Aventine back in my high school youth orchestra days! just followed her on insta and the snippet she posted two days ago sounds stunning
  14. either Swine, Dope, or 911 I'm thinking
  15. okay come to Denver then and we can [expletive] in the back of my car
