The North West inclusion is actually really throwing me off. Twigs whole thing is being some queer friendly, art ho goddess and then has a child conceived by two of the most evil, republican, disgusting human beings on here? Immediately I'm questioning her true morals and side eyeing...

 

Edit: yeah learning now she's saying "Jesus is the only true god" and stuff... yeah this album is not gonna be supported by me. I guess I'm too woke but like... why did you invite a N*zi's 11 year old daughter to preach about Jesus on your album? Very uncomfortable.

After the title track finishes with those final swells I keep expecting it to bleed into Striptease because of how many times I watched the Body Is Art performance, kind of wished that was how it was tracklisted.

Room of Fools is so Bjork-coded to me, idk, something about the chorus just sounds like Post to me.

On one hand, people are making too big of a deal about CT / North.

 

On the other, it's a really weird choice and pretty blegh song. Like why her and why a line about Jesus? I don't want to say appropriation either, but....

 

Literally the only song in her discog where it sounds lazy and like she gave no fucks lmao -- the production she posted from a few years ago was much better, too

a great album but yea I agree that Childlike Things is the weakest track by far... it's giving scrapped track that would leak a year later, not sure why it made the album
