I keep seeing the vinyl cover being used in new media posts and it works on all levels including a small thumbnail. I thought it would be too detailed but it just reads a masterpiece and mt eyes wanna lean in closer. I love the darker almost liquid texture of the horse

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

its going to be interesting to hear how these samples are used. historically, Beyonce has always expertly used her sample choices.

its mainly been either obscure songs or just limited elements of the song. nothing lazy or too on the nose. even BMS does not really even sample "Show Me Love" like that although its credited.

her songs with the heaviest sample base like "Suga Mama", "Run the World", "Resentment" were built off songs that pretty much had no lyrics to them anyway. she basically made them into actual complete songs.

This was really interesting to look at. I had no idea she sampled Animal Collective’s My Girls, which song is that on?

where girl i haven’t been able to find that album since he took it down :jonnycat:

I downloaded it before he took it down

send me a PM with your email address , I’ll send it to you

Imagine if the boxes contain something like a pre-sale code for the tour to get early access to the tickets :duca:

Btw, I feel like she will announce the tour before the album release

You know, I've gotten so used to the idea that she's a seasoned performer with so many years of stage performance behind her and has mastered her craft that I kinda forget she was incredible from the beginning

Haven't watched this in years and oh boy my jaw is on the literal floor .

None of the girls out there currently can perform like this, let alone reach the heights of her coachella performance. She's truly once in a lifetime entertainer and I feel so grateful that I get to experience it.

I was a broke college student last time I saw her on tour. Now as an adult doing well financially there's no way I'm not seeing her at least 3 times on tour.

Well thank god she did. 6 inch's bridge is a highlight in her discography.

I got to say chart hive and complain hive were right about lemonade and Beyoncé not releasing it on streaming. Set her back a little. :deadbanana:. Just hoping the numbers next week do better than a certain someone.

She'll be fine, she finally seems to have gotten that through her head at least :rip:

Quick question.

This isn't shade AT ALL (as I actually am fine with either scenario), but do y'all really think the vinyls sold out?

I ask this from the marketing side of my mind.

As with other artist's stores, we were able to see that 30k were avail and the vast majority were still in stock before her latest unwrapping post.

Are we really believing that one post on IG and TikTok helped her sell, let's say, 25k vinyls in a day? She notably didn't even mention where to get said vinyls in the post and then kablam...they're gone.

On the one hand, maybe I shouldn't underestimate her power (even with no call-to-action captions on her posts). A number of people I know personally rushed to get the vinyl when the cover was revealed. Plus, her store is international. So that 25k (for example) would be spread across the globe which makes it all more realistic.

THAT SAID...

Marketing 101 is to "limit the supply to increase the demand". Should she do a strategic "restock" or team with a retailer to sell it there will be MUCH more hype and a sense of "get it while you can". When in reality it may be the same batch that was always up.

As I said, I have zero problem with this and think it's actually genius. It's more a case of, for as much as I love Bey's music, I've always been fascinated by the marketing aspect of her rollouts and career at large. There's a lot of learn, digest, etc.

Whatever the case, I absolutely feel like she's coming with a major restock of the vinyls and boxes come release week. Columbia want the numbers and having steered the BTS ship for as long as they did, they know the marketing psychology of how to get them.

I don’t see the logic in publicly claiming you sold 30k when you really didn’t. To only release it again and essentially hope you sell the same amount????

The last time I was able to refresh the link with 100K in the bag there was around 21k left and still dropping relatively fast. This was around half a day after they'd been released. I think at the time of the gram there would've been more like 5 - 10k left.

I do think a restock now would be a great marketing idea if there is more supply. Imagine if she actually posted a link, which I hope she does for the standard release.

I wonder if there will be silence this upcoming week until Friday?!!

Nah I think more crumb style promo will come during the weekday. But not expecting a full music video or pop up performance

I think it might be possible that Bey didn't work with Kaytranada bc he dragged Disclosure for copying his sound on Ungodly Hour and ppl assumed he was dragging CxH which led to him deleting the subtweet. Then Andrew liked some tweets or maybe even tweeted smth like Kaytra did not invent the genre

She/her team never "publicly claimed" anything really, though. It's just savvy fans realising the tea.

Interesting insights!

I am, of course, hyped if they are genuinely gone (Chart Hive here), but also intrigued/almost equally hyped about their strategy if it wasn't necessarily the case).

So I guess a simple acoustic performance is out the question. :deadbanana:

I don’t know what other crumbs she could drop at this point.

It is insane how much better her voice used to sound live vs prerecorded. I love Beyoncé’s full bodied tone. Speaking of full body, her body also looks INSANE in that video

I love daddy I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again
