Not "act ii: A film by Beyonce" lmao I don't know how to take it but that's certainly not the title even if it is act ii

I actually think the opposite... I've watched so many live concert films and I typically get bored half way through. Especially if don't adore the music which most likely the GP does not (let's be really really real for a second) BTS is not B-roll of her trying on outfits, it's literally the drama behind the shoot. It's her talking about how difficult her pregnancy was (Homecoming), it's herstarting rehearsals at a much bigger weight then we're used to seeing her, it's her saying she hasn't sung in a year and practicing Halo accoustic. This stuff will wake the audience up and get them invested, not Church irl, before I let you go, Black Parade, Plastic of the Sofa etc

I think it's far more important in person versus digitally. To me it was less about her showing off vocal talent and more about connecting with the audience and being intimate...she certainly doesn't need all 4 songs. Flaws ,& All is both the best vocal & carries the most important setinment, they can play that after the interlude about her breaking her foot trampolining... the rest can go

How much bigger would Beyonce be had she never stopped chasing the charts?
That music videos aren't going to reduce the tour attendance in response to your post And to the OP in regards to MVs, following the the peak of YouTube, Lemonade singles didn't have videos released in a timely manner. Formation was unlisted until some years later, Hold Up peaked around the world in May but didn't have it's video uploaded til August. Sorry became a US only single and had a video released some weeks after the album but it had no Spotify etc until 2019... Essentially there's a lot of self sabotage and it doesn't really swing both ways. I think the only thing to consider is that Lemonade wouldn't have had as much physical sales if the album was on Spotify etc but she could of easily of just released the singles to those platform & had her cake and eat it

You think having music videos, more singles and a few live performances online would decrease the tour revenue by 30-40%

She released 2 singles and not in any active way promoted either of them... on the scale of promo where artists attend award shows, give live performances, release videos, interact with fans, go on talk shows, releasing singles to radio, she's doing about a 3/10.... You have to be blind to miss the point.

I wouldn't read too much into it, the BTS are likely going to touch on the visuals as well... aside from Ed Burke it wouldn't make sense for her to go to another director for the Doc/film Jonas Arkrelund directed OTR as well as videos on Lem/ST. So there's no reason why there can't be cross with Nadine

Same tbh. The format is perfect as it adds some warmth and purpose to the proceedings. The tour kinda peaks with the Renainssance section right near the beginning, scattering valuable BTS and giving some emotion and purpose to the proceedings make it a much easier (2hour+ watch) the show itself is not non stop either. You have dance breaks, interludes, band sessions and a song from the back up singers. The only interludes she should keep are the intro/Loop the sample & ballroom battle.

I wouldn't assume visuals are scrapped until she starts talking about act ii... I mean the tea from just a month ago gave us the director, touched on its style and said it was being shopped to streams in July. Concert film/Doc is a separate project ala Homecoming

It's said to be as early as tomorrow, but honestly I'd always take specific dates with a pinch of salt. I never had any doubt the end of the tour meant new content, but I'm just loosely taking it as something will be announced/revealed in the next few weeks. Maybe agreements with the sellers means it has to be announced tomorrow but otherwise it's easily the sort of thing she could delay last minute for whatever reason

Random but this is just taking me back to how random and messy a lot of the handling of IASF was post the initial 2008 launch. The album should have been The fame level success. All the videos after Halo/Diva being kind of bad or mid. Terrible single choices like Broken Hearted Girl & Videophone. Why Don't You Love Me actually being great but then only being a cute littke video for the fans... the aweful platinum addition which didn't extend the life of the album at all. Videophone with Gaga being pushed as a moment when the remix was horrible, the Idea of having her on the song itself was a mistake and lazy. She should of put Gaga on something original and Pop. I've never seen Beyhive acknowledge it but I think Gaga's peak and what she was doing creatively helped whip Bey into shape, she was getting sloppy. The way telephone eclipsed Videophone in every way.

REM was essentially finished, Donk has more potential but it sounds like it's second half has to be entirely re-written because is a repeat of the first. Also the guy In the pre-chorus is inaudible.... But I really love the promise of what's there. Even just from a writing angle it sounds unique for Bey. No shade but a lot of her love songs are too linear/head on, so this song referencing the state of RnB, the chorus being a fun poke at culture & twerking(?)... it's quite a refreshing POV from her. A kind of poppy/ear worm Chorus next to more classical sultry RnB verses is interesting too.
