Ariana Grande - 'petal'
The album is predicted to remain stable at #8 this week (its 4th week in the Top 10). HTIMYLM is also predicted to remain inside the Top 5, three months after its release. The era's success is definitely on par with Sweetener's commercial performance right now, which was not a flop at all.
- Dolly Parton has died, aged 80
- Ariana or Rihanna - better discography?

Global 200: Dai Dai 6x #1, Tame Impala's Loser #3, KATSEYE's Animal #10
Shakira still dominating. Queen. Also great to still see HTIMYLM in the Top 5 (and Top 2 on the Excl. US Charts). Truly a huge global smash with insane longevity.

Sam Smith's new album debuts with 1,8M streams | Day 2: 997K (-46%)
They deserve better. The album is actually great (like most of Sam's discography). Not that they need to prove anything, since they've already achieved so much success over the last two decades, but still.

Sam Smith - 'Hazel Eyes'
Such a beautiful album. They sound amazing on every track. The title track, Moondance and When He's Gone are my faves right now.

Best Max Martin hits that missed the Top 10 on Billboard?

Cute album. EPA is great.- Madonna leads 2026 MTV Video Music Awards nominations, followed by Taylor Swift
Madonna & Ariana.- Ariana Grande - 'petal'
Well, if you went by Stan Twitter or ATRL, you'd think it's pulling Bionic or Witness numbers. Petal's commercial performance will probably end up somewhere between that of Sweetener and Positions when all is said and done.- Ariana Grande - 'petal'
not bad for her Witness era.- HDD: Katseye #1 169k, Phoebe Bridgers #2 111k, Stray Kids #3 74k
Huge and totally deserved for a great EP.- Hayden Panettiere dead at 36
This is very shocking and heartbreaking. RIP.- Ariana Grande - 'petal'
And yours is what exactly? Why enter a thread of an artist you dislike just to spread negativity? Also, didn't HTIMYLM just spend more weeks in the top 10 than all of Olivia's singles from her recent era?- Ariana Grande - 'petal'
you literally stan the flavor of the month.- Ariana Grande - 'petal'
I wouldn't even call it a flop era. Sure, it might be an underperformance for her standards, but still, HTIMYLM kind of saves the era tbh (similar to how STS saved DW), and the fact that the album debuted with almost 300k SPS makes the era a success, imo. Hopefully the album (+HTIMYLM) can still snatch a few more weeks inside the Top 10, even though the era is basically over already.- KATSEYE - 'WILD'
This EP is so cute and fun. That Way is a huge bop.- Ariana Grande - 'petal'
Yeah, I'm also surprised nothing is going viral. This has never been the case for her in the streaming era. There was always at least one album track going viral after album release week (Sweetener - breathin, TU,N - bloodline (?), positions - pov & motive, ES - TBIM). Nothing seems to take off on petal. Well, not that it matters too much anyway, tbh. She still got her 10th #1 hit this era, which is a massive and legendary achievement. It also seems to be becoming one of her bigger songs in general. It could be worse.- Is "being old" a valid excuse for Madonna?
I think it's disgraceful to reduce Madonna to her age. She's literally the Queen of Pop, has opened so many doors for our favorite pop girls today, and has had so much chart success throughout her impressive five decade long career that, at this point, it doesn't matter whether she sells one record or one million records. The fact that she can pull off a #1 debut in 2026, as an artist who debuted in the early 1980s, mind you, is immensely astonishing in itself and just shows that she still has a dedicated fanbase and plenty of interest from casual listeners. H*es can stay mad.- Is Tate Janet's successor?
- KAROL G - 'NO ME ARREPIENTO DE SENTIR TANTO'
Currently listening to this. I'm almost through (on track 10), and there have been absolutely no skips. I can already tell that it's a great, cohesive record. My highlights so far are Matadora,Final Feliz (such a beautiful ballad), Ahi, and Still. Edit: just finished listening, and yeah, it is a great record from start to end. Bby Wow is another highlight for me.- H100: Texas #1(x17), HTIMYLM #2, petal #4
"challenging for #2 second week". A gag indeed.
