I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

The reading of the producers during the Album of the Year category before they announce the winner is going to be SO MESSY. The announcer is going to be grasping for air :dies:

LMAO. It can’t be done. They will have to name the top 5 contributors and say “And others”

Does anybody have any clue or idea what Donna Summer sample will close the album? Last Dance seems rather fitting. I Feel Love is obviously iconic but already played out and covered to death. I think On the Radio would slice my throat and leave me in a puddle of my own blood as a closer tho.

I am avoiding the samples, too. For the songs I have not heard before, I'd rather associate the sound with B, not the original.

But I'm listening to some of Beam's stuff. Had never heard of him before yesterday.

Exactly!! Especially if I’ve never heard the original.

I was personally hoping for something from the Four Seasons of Love album... I think that would capture the title really well :jonny:

Sing Along (Sad Song)

I’ve got a feeling that this album could be Bey’s best yet

This. People think it'll flop critically because some other girls :gaycat3: tanked with their uninspired "house" EDM album.

“Move” is produced by Guilty Beatz, who is an Afrobeats producer. Renaissance is going to incorporate many sounds, not just House music.

What I‘ve been saying and hoping for ??????I CANT ******* WAIT!!!

btw… I was checking out Mr. BEAM‘s recent album “ALIEN“ (:fan:) last night & believe me, when I tell you, there’s some BOPS on there.. especially the song

Wow I've never heard this before. Did she already sample a little of this in Get Me Bodied?

Prepared for the BMS lashes when everyone fights about what should've been the lead single next week :lakitu:

FYWB being one of ma fave Bey songs, I am so excited for this :duca:

its going to be interesting to hear how these samples are used. historically, Beyonce has always expertly used her sample choices.

its mainly been either obscure songs or just limited elements of the song. nothing lazy or too on the nose. even BMS does not really even sample "Show Me Love" like that although its credited.

her songs with the heaviest sample base like "Suga Mama", "Run the World", "Resentment" were built off songs that pretty much had no lyrics to them anyway. she basically made them into actual complete songs.

That's why I said it CANNOT miss from the Renaissance Tour set list :jonnycat:

Very random but I hope she does a reference to one of her old hits on one of the tracks like Madonna did to Vogue on Deeper and Deeper

Imagine a subtle naughty girl reference on Summer renaissance ugh :jonny5:
