What an amazing show last night! She is truly unmatched. The production and stage design are insane - probably one of the more intricate live shows I've seen. A lesson in showmanship. But I will never buy floor seats again. I can understand a lot of the critiques, as there were moments where the show felt "phoned in." I don't mean this negatively, as there's probably a better way to describe it. But I think that's because CC is easier for her to perform. Like, there's not too much (physically) you can do with a Flamenco, Alligator Tears, or Just For Fun. I will say that her costumes look soooo much better in person, but they photograph/film poorly. It's a shame, because she looks phenomenal.

Hmmm…I think the trilogy has been GREAT for her brand. Better things definitely should have happened, but I don't mind how it's unfolding so far (especially if there's another album/tour combo for Act III).

Always the same discourse about "hits" with Beyoncé. The next tour will not feature the "hits" either. But one thing about Beyoncé, she's always late. The greatest hits tour will have her floating around a stadium singing Halo soon enough. I'm just happy to live in a universe where I can witness extended versions of Flamenco and Protector.

It finally feels like spring on the east coast. The base is back. Days from a new tour. New arrangements. New choreo. New costumes. New visuals…

I can't wait to see which songs come to life during the tour. I've never clicked with her version of Jolene, but I feel like it will be a "Ya'll sound so beautiful tonight," moment during the tour.

This is what happens when you're Black, political, and create art that exposes and recontexualizes western art, race, gender, and culture. It's frustrating as a fan to witness the hate. But….She chose this life and values the legacy she's creating more than the followers she loses along the way.

I can't believe we have a new tour in 4 months!! The base is so fun during tour season (new costumes, staging, vocal arrangements, etc). Like…this is tew much.

releasing RWT on Netflix would be perfect promo for the new tour, and that's probably why it won't happen. Excited regardless.

Postponing the announcement is the right thing to do. But waiting til midnight (the day of) is so foul. I give Bey a lot of grace, ignoring most of her questionable decisions, but I've reached my limit with this. As a fan (and consumer of every side venture), I need more from her and her team.
