3-in-1 won't do, conditioner needs to be a separate product. i personally love it, my hair is quite short but it still gets frizzy if I use shampoo only and no conditioner

I use bumble & bumble gentle conditioner because my shampoo is pretty intense because I get dandruff :(

I shampoo twice and condition once every second day, I don't think I could skip it or trust using a 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 product. deadbanana Those kind of male-targeted products kind of piss me off too. skull

My hair is like mid-length with a wave and a silicone free conditioner makes the world of a difference.

I use Ouai's thick hair shampoo and conditionor. So good for the non-baldies on here with really thick hair.

100% needed. i live in Canada where we have HARD water due to limestone in the lakes. whenever i go to brazil im shocked how soft my hair is there just from the water alone.

never used a conditioner in my life, but i've noticied the ends of my hair were getting dry so i just bought today redken's leave in conditioner, any opinions on it?

Who doesn't condition? Wouldn't that make your hair dirty or really dry?

I always have to condition. Even after I dye my hair and every wash. Id feel dirty and my hair gets dry if I don't

I even got a a shampoo, conditioner and pink dye in one. I love it

I have naturally curly hair and have to use conditioner. A metric ton every time too. I've been skimping on spending as much on my hair products for a bit but I used to love Pattern's Medium Conditioner and their leave-in. But conditioner is a must.

my hair is curly and gets super frizzy with humidity so i saw this woman on tiktok and she puts a bit of conditioner in a spray bottle then fills it with vitamins and adds warm water then shakes them up and sprays it on the hair and it honestly makes my curls look shiny and healthy

Yeah I have really thick hair it gets to frizzy and dry without conditioner

I fear I don't notice the difference visually so I don't use conditioner, but I know I should.

Luckily I have straight and very dense hair. Now it's colored so I use conditioner but its this cool product that you can use in 3 ways, put it on your wet hair right after the shampoo and then rinse out, you can put it on your wet hair and just leave it or you can also put it on your dry hair and just leave it there. It'll soften your hair and you use just a tiny bit of a product. My hair is so healthy. I also take biotin supplements (10g per day).

I would like to see a venn diagram of people who say they don't use conditioner and people that don't wash their legs.

As a black woman with 3c and 4a hair, I ABSOLUTELY need a separate conditioner. I also deep condition in the middle of the week as a cowash. 🫶 Unless you have hair that gets oily or weighed down very easily, you should be using a conditioner to restore the moisture that gets stripped from your hair when you shampoo it.

I always use it. And some medical tips:

Shampoo is for cleaning only, so use it only on your scalp. Be gentle, don't scratch, don't use your nails, just the fingertips to spread and "gently rub" it nicely.

Conditioner should be used only from the middle part of your hair to your tips, should never touch your scalp.

Depending on the medical grade of your product you should leave it to work 2-3 min.
