I mean judging Taylor.. yea it was kinda a mess . But his stuff with Ariana is always phenomenal and I know he switches up his sound depending on who he works with !! I'm very curious to what the Max Martin-madonna track (or tracks) sounded like !

Knowing her I doubt it would be anytime soon (maybe a deluxe??).. I know Max has a weird rule about his stuff being lead singles and whatnot. Hopefully it leaks but at this point, idk...

I like some of the tracks but I was really like gaggedddd at the possibility of Max Martin being on this record!! If she vaulted those songs, she was dumb for that.

Don't get me wrong I'm a Christina fan but girl she's.. lazy asf!! And I think that paired with the wrong management team really didn't let her focus on touring. The thing with Christina is she never lacked the talent.. she lacked the hunger. You can't out-sing everyone and then vanish every era expecting the GP to stay seated!

Does anybody even know what project this is intended for.. it's been so mysterious. Like first it was Bandaids was the lead, now it's this. I'm confused as to what this whole concept/major (not so major) comeback is supposed to be.

I agree. No shade, when is the last time someone cared about Katy besides the big major hype pre-Woman's World (before we heard that flop of a single produced by an awful person)

The thing about Taylor in my opinion and I think TLOASG proves this image/narrative very well is that she's less for the arts now and more for the charts. Max Martin and Shellback could've very well given her a hot 1989 esque album (Ariana proves he's never stopped making hits) but she failed to listen and made bland music on that record. Also the rushed timing was very odd, I feel like she could've recorded the max martin project / album AFTER the tour.

I'm actually not upset that people don't believe me 😭 believe me, don't believe me, it genuinely doesn't affect my day. The reality is there's a reason the conversation / inside tea around this project has been unusually quiet compared to previous eras. People can read into that however they want. I've given broad impressions because broad impressions are what i'm comfortable giving right now. Some of you seem to think that's because I know nothing, which is fair enough. Either way, we're still a month out. Give it a little time. I'll probably be discussing certain things like next week👀

I think that's where the disconnect is. i've already said it's being heavily gatekept, so obviously I'm not going to be dropping a full track-by-track breakdown or anything that could compromise anyone involved. The expectation that I either reveal everything or I'm "not credible" is a little funny Sometimes the most you can share is the general direction and idea around it.

Hmm that's tough. I can see the tour bringing a lot more numbers in terms of streaming, but I'd compare it to be a little bit better than ES.
