Dr L*ke and his weird obsession with finding the "next" young pop girl...
this. the OP is reaching. there are specific markets in pop music. sexed up party girl is one of them. it's widely known and accepted that sex sells. not only in pop; in rap, hip-hop, country, rock, etc. pop is the easiest one to sell it through (and rap to an extent) Luke had massive success in the pop girl machine/business with Kesha, Katy, Doja, Britney, Avril, Kelly, Pink, the list goes on and on. So ofc he'd try to recreate that with young female talent. i think it's more a matter of his typical business model which isn't even unique to Luke. the entire major label industry embraces fleeting investment. if you don't have enough hits and make the company enough money after a certain amount of time, you get shelved. that's simply the case with Snow Wife

yup. been saying this for a few years now. assuming OP is speaking from a U.S. perspective, the democratic/liberal/leftist party, whatever you wanna call it, has been lost the plot. attacking the other side might've worked in 2000 but in this day and age it's not useful. dems/libs/leftists shouting just gives maga / conservatives more ammo and makes that side, no matter how well meaning or earnest, an easy target. point blank we'd be better off with a political ideology that's grounded in reason, empathy, humor, and one that sees all sides and doesn't villainize anyone. period. right now the system is primarily this: you fall into one of two categories, and the opposing team is your mortal enemy. GO! like literally nothing good or 'progressive' comes of that. it's a never ending fight. Trump fuels it for sure, but atp placing blame is also doing nothing good. progress needs all people on board, no matter your political label. if a political figure could rise up that captures that vibe, i think the U.S. would have a chance of becoming a respectable country. it's an uphill battle tho, what with social media and division being extremely profitable for corporations.- Miley Cyrus teases new album
