  3. kinda perched for this folding phone announcement... i feel like Apple's gonna do it up for this
  4. For Your Entertainment is a smash. The McDonough production duo are lowkey killing it. Super catchy melodies and Ellie's voice hasn't sounded this good in 10 years
  5. "boomer lecturing energy" sends me lol Yea this was my very initial thought too upon hearing the "kids don't wanna dance" lyric. I get it ofc. It's a valid point she's making. But the way she frames it so literally, especially for a lead single, is a big risk. But as we all know, Miley's a risk taker. So kudos for that. But I'm not sure how it'll pay off bc it may alienate the younger generation fans who might feel like she's judging them or preaching. Again, it's a timely sentiment, but like... lowkey a buzz kill. I also feel like the MV cvntiness doesn't match the song's subject. A song about letting go in the club and not worrying about ppl making fun of you is a great idea and one Miley hasn't ever leaned into. I think the avant garde interpretation of that is also bold and risky.
  6. I just saw the MV reels racked up tens of millions of views icba to comb through this or the chart thread... but what's the song currently doing on streaming? What's the Billboard debut prediction?
  7. Do they? That's an interesting claim. Would you be able to expand upon that and provide some context?

Ok I'm officially convinced that Dua needs to get back with the same production team that made Radical Acclaimism for her next album, if she isn't already. Like actually. I've thought this for a while now but listening to These Walls made it crystal clear. It's wild how underrated and overlooked this album was/is. The level of hooky melodies, harmonies, bg vocals, counter-melodies, bridges, thoughtful songwriting and the overall pleasant mix of soft rock/folk/psych-synth-pop is so easy on the ears. They struck gold Kevin Parker, Danny L Harle, Andrew Wyatt, Caroline Ailin… the geniuses that you are
  9. Just discovered this smash in an uber and omg such an earworm i hope she worked on more songs with this team bc it really suits her. great lyrics and super catchy chorus whew
  10. Them deleting the I Miss the City video on Youtube and re-uploading with the audio synced up properly An attentive team
  11. Respectfully, why does this forum continually analyze music trends from 15+ years ago? Is the current music industry just that dead? It's wild to me
