Do we owe Dua Lipa an apology?
Yes we do Radical Optimism has aged like fine wine. the melodies are top tier, the production and mixing is crisp and expensive, and her vocals have never sounded better

- Tate McRae seemingly teases new era
makes sense. summer's about to be over and she only just starting teasing the era. her not performing a new song at either festival confirmed the first single isn't ready yet.- Artists Christina Aguilera has inspired & influenced
Can we seriously stop with the Xtina threads? there's 3 new ones everyday. my god- Sabrina Carpenter is poised to become the youngest solo female headliner at Wembley
Coffee as a euphemism for sex lol- Ariana Grande — petal review thread | Metacritic: 67 (+1) | AOTY: 64 | Pitchfork 6.5
great point - it's the MIXING on these songs that's the main issue. it's so muddy and muffled and her vocals sound demo-ish, not in a cool way. it's staggering that this happened given Ilya's involvement. it's cool if she wants to experiment with darker elements and lyrics (which in itself is risky bc her brand and musical identity is bright, punchy pop songs with powerhouse vocals) but when the recorded vocals sound half-hearted and the overall production sounds uneventful and flat, it makes people listen one time and never go back or save to their library (like me). i listened to this album on Thursday night last week and literally haven't gone back. Petal just leaves little to be desired; the fuzzy, lo-fi black & white album art emphasizes that point even more. there's so much she coulda done with a petal/flower theme. this was slapped together after Wicked press runs and before eternal sunshine tour and it shows.- Joe Jonas admitted himself to therapy after flop album sales
THIS. the Jonas Bros have endless big-name corporate endorsements; they pop out albums every year, go on big tours attended by their faithful millennial fanbase, and he's hot asf. being rich isn't enough, these narcs need endless ego boosts and validation. with that said, i'm more than happy to validate that c*ck with my mouth and butt!- Ariana Grande jams to Victoria Monet, Frou Frou in unseen REM Beauty clip
