They're both commercial pop stars and Britney's successors. What they do isn't that far off from each other tbh Tate gets hate bc she doesn't filter her feminine expression and sex appeal through an artsy "underground" lens. Addison gets points for being less cookie cutter (which, lbr, she tried when she first debuted with Obsession and it flopped massively). That's the long and short of it. It's interesting bc ppl seem to forget Tate started with emotional ballads, which is the reverse of Addison's debut. You'd think that would hold merit, but the narrative of transitioning from superficial to artsy is more compelling than going from emotional sad girl to sex kitten. The latter is more harshly judged. In my opinion, I think both evolutions are cool. Either way, both Tate and Addison are fully committed to their visions and there's a lot to be said for that.

Yea there's something satisfying about being in a unique/niche place where others get the music industry more than the average person. it's cool to see also how we're the first ones to know artist updates. The exclusive aspect to it, while rare, is also a plus.
