These stan bases have been at each other's throats for like 10 years, but I really don't understand why. Beyoncé and Gaga are from different generations, mostly make different genres of music, and were only direct "competitors" in like 2008-2009. But even then, they collaborated multiple times and have only pleasant things to say about each other. How did the stans end up hating each other so much?

It all has to do with Telephone. Gaga stans say it's Beyoncé's last hit and Beyoncé stans say Bey, Bruno, Ariana, Xtina, and Bradley gave Gaga her recent hits and they have nothing to do with Gaga.

They're the only true peer each other has and unbathed f slurs want to turn it into a rivalry

Monsters did a bit too much when 4 underperformed during Gaga's peak, and then Self Titled washed Artpop when they both came out within months of one another, so Hive paid it back in kind. It's been circular on both sides ever since then every time they release, and I wish they would let it go because you're right, they're in completely different lanes atp

Yeah this is the real answer. A lot of people really came for Bey's neck at the time, and since Gaga was at the top of the world at the time, my fellow monsters got a little overzealous. Shame it has continued since, because they've always kept it cute together and they're both still giants in their respective lanes.

Monsters on GagaDaily & Twitter always supported Bey and didn't make fun of 4 allegedly flopping

This all actually started when self-titled was released and the hive started to act like beyoncé was above Gaga because artpop didn't exceed expectations

all I know is that monsters started it

I genuinely don't know and lowkey I think it's stupid

They are like the only talented MPGs since maybe Mariah so its fun to compare them

Everything wrong in life started around 2010-11.

Gaga is the only person to debut after Bey's solo that can match her talents and cultural footprint so the Hive is intimidated and the Liddos are annoying.

Monsters were Jealous of the praise Bey got and still are. It didn't help that Beyonce was releasing albums like 4, BEYONCE and Lemonade against Artpop and Joanne

4 came out after Born This Way and there were already people mocking Gaga's Amazon deal and how frontloaded the album was. Bey got dragged by association.

No matter how many of you claim it were the Monsters the timeline doesn't stick. BTW era started before the 4 era.

Didn't it start back in 2011 when 4 was seen as a flop and BTW a huge success? Also the monsters were at their peak in terms of annoyance, they were having issues with everybody.
