It didn't, the tracks essentially got counted double since the Remixes whose streams got merged are also on the Complete Confection tracklist and they show the same numbers as their original versions. TOTGA original (track 7) got like 350M streams from the Acoustic Version, TOTGA acoustic version (track 13) got 1,3 billion added from the original. Same for every other remixed track (E.T. & Last Friday Night).

Hasn't happened with Gaga's songs as well, except for 1 single song: DWUW ft. X-Tina, which gained like 120M over night from the deleted version with R. Kelly

Honestly the entire ordeal is still sad. One wrong move and every piece of friendship and vulnerabilty you shared is a literal weapon you gifted.
