  1. Mastercard promo money wasn't enough to pay for the streams needed for top 10. https://www.mastercard.com/us/en/personal/experience-mastercard/gaga.html
  2. Her most recent collab is all about how she's not making music for numbers.
  3. I know her collabs. My point is that she shines on solo material.
  4. Ok that I agree with. I actually hope she disconnects from social media for a while.
  5. . This makes no sense. You're insinuating people expressing concern here previously said she was too big, and there is 0 evidence of that being true.
  6. I'd rather stand up for what I personally believe is right and risk your disapproval.
  7. I think worse than the condition is the fact she/her team are using it for buzz and promo to get people talking. And that it might inspire impressionable fans to want to look like her.
  8. I never claimed otherwise. I think Taylor has more introspective songs and that she took a risk with Evermore especially.
  9. Madonna does both artistry and pop things. Kind of like Bjork, who had simple pop songs like Big Time Sensuality, as well as more avant-garde output. Making pop music doesn't negate artistry or seriousness/deepness.
  10. Some of y'all need to stick to talking about charts and stats.
  11. Because she's a solo queen. Not everybody has that.
  12. Guess which aesthetic is the stapled on song
  13. Abracadoody, mama oo papa. But anyway, Gimme All Your Love was a bit cute but too much for its own good. Although I see after 14 years even, it still holds space in your mind.
  14. Good thing you're here to remind us all that Gaga fans (and Gaga herself) never believe anything on Twitter, never lie, never twist, are never delulu, and operate strictly in honour, grace, and unfettered decorum.
  15. It did alright, peaking at #14. Even Gaga peaked only one number higher with Abracadabra.
  16. SAVE Betrayal One Step Away School OFF Read My Lips Love Sensation My Sins are My Saviour
  17. Love both. I do probably like Confessions II a little more, personally, so I'll abstain. Edit: what the hell, I'll try. I'm That Girl vs I Feel So Free Cozy vs Good For The Soul Alien Superstar vs One Step Away Cuff It vs Bring Your Love Energy vs Danceteria Break My Soul vs Read My Lips Church Girl vs Everything Plastic Off The Sofa vs Love Sensation Virgo's Groove vs Love Without Words Move vs Bizzare Heated vs School Thique vs Fragile All Up In Your Mind vs My Sins Are My Savior America Has A Problem vs Betrayal Pure/Honey vs The Test Summer Renaissance vs LES Girl With a caveat that all of these are very close.
  18. oh TF and TFM are separate albums today? You gotta pick one, bad kids. Why don't you give it a go, @Killah ? Is it two or one. I'll make sure to bookmark your answer.
  19. Confessions 2 is an album only Madonna could make. It's deeply personal, and yet also inspects the social climate, and what's happening with humanity as a whole while also being both experimental and fun musically. A triumph! To be fair, I don't know the entire Disco album, but I know a few songs, and generally enjoy Kylie as well. But I think Madonna goes to a level beyond what Kylie has yet to access.
  20. Dropping Live to Tell as the lead of True Blue after making a name for herself in dance music and unabashed feel good pop was a huge risk for her and especially because she was a new artist. Like a Prayer song and video was as well. Then Justify My Love. Frozen was also a big risk in a career full of them, but I think those first 3 are the biggest.
