The SNL and tour boost absolutely helped for a couple days but I'd argue it's actually performing slightly better than Vampire. Ever since Spotify cracked down on APKs, numbers are down across the board compared to 2023/2024, so to only be ~300K away from Vampire is fairly impressive.

This song has a fantastic chorus, I don't even listen to it that often and it's always stuck in my head.

this will never be a huge hit because the GP wants certain artists to remain miserable but it's one of the best songs released this year

I think they should give it at least two or three more weeks to see how it's gonna do on radio. If it starts looking like it's not gonna enter top 10 overall, time to move to single #2.

what an amazing song holy sh*t she really is the artiste of her generation, she has such an earnest approach to songwriting, theres massive worldbuilding, big buildup in the prechorus, no antidrop nonsense just pure catharsis with her choruses.

she makes 'running around the field screaming the song' music and does it so well, she's building this really unique MPG meets The Cure and Linkin Park sound and I REALLY really f*ck with it.

I wish this song all the best and that radio supports the **** out of it and it becomes a megahit, hoping the 2nd and 3rd single are also just as, if not bigger, this dream/soft rock sound she does needs to be the motif of the rest of the record, really set her apart from the 'she's just cosplaying Speak Now/RED Taylor' naysayers, what an amazing song!!!
