We love an artist who receives support from their label, and debuts at #1. Not everyone's (flop) fave can relate.

It's been nearly 30 years since "non-singles" have been able to chart. Why are you acting like this is a recent issue?

She continues to have multiple singles in the top 10 of Spotify. Lack of radio support in the US has meant they have been stable just outside of the top 10, but "stupid song" is about to climb back into the top 10 again. Despite this, the album as a whole has continued to smash for months. Which is why Swifties have felt so threatened by her. Taylor has reached a stage in her career now where she can consistently release terrible music and her fan base will obsessively stream and purchase it regardless. Nothing impressive about that. I find it sad.

It was no more "fraudulent" than most of the recent #1s. Many artists are pulling these tricks nowadays, including the largest ones like Taylor.
