Jon Bernthal compares pitbull hate to racism and homophobia
Ugh, why can't men like him just shut up and be hot. Why do you have to ruin it with your stupid thoughts

Ariana Grande - 'petal'
Title track is so spooky & divine. It feels like she's kind of implying with it that this is the last album, at least for awhile?

The Good Place actress Jameela Jamil says Ariana Grande is "dying"
She's really not. Jameela is more of a cultural commentator than anything these days and if you took your pop fan glasses off you'd see she's quite brilliant and usually quite accurate in her assessments, like in this comment.
- Which song should be the third single from Ariana's "petal"?

I know it's a sensitive topic: Ariana and Karen Carpenter comparisons are surfacing
Man, this is a sticky issue. Because there's Ariana the person and there's Ariana the public figure. I'm sure the people in her life are aware something is wrong, I'm sure there are people close to her trying to help and yet I'm sure there are also people who don't care and are just happy there's profit being made. But as others have pointed out, oftentimes criticism or being "called out" on something like an ED only puts the sufferer deeper in denial or indignation. Whether people want to admit it or not, it's harmful to look like this and continue to exist so prominently in the public eye as if nothing is wrong. It does contribute to the normalization of this body type, and it's fair to worry about her younger fans who are more impressionable. Especially when the argument that it's wrong to comment on women's bodies at all gets run with and has been Ariana's main line of defense this whole time. Ultimately it's not wrong to comment when it's this alarming. It's just not something anyone but her can really heal.

Ariana Grande - 'petal'
Not coming for you at all, I'm just tired of hearing this. She can do ANYTHING with her voice so if she wants to use it this way, especially artistically speaking, I don't see the big deal. She sounds heavenly regardless and there's a lot of technique and intention that goes into a more subtle approach to her voice.
