The comparison to Obsessed makes even less sense than the others, because Obsessed was already released in September 2023, eight months before being released as a single. It was on every vinyl version of the album and was all over TikTok and YouTube long before it was released officially on streaming.

Meanwhile Olivia's third single had higher streams than all of these.

She should remove her music from Spotify again. 2026 is the new 2016!

And tour is next week so 14 weeks is a safe bet too! She could probably cross 20 weeks with a deluxe.

Comparing where Spotify (and streaming in general) was in 2024 vs 2026, I'd argue YSPS is bigger or at least on the same level. The removal of APKs and lesser autoplay definitely impacted the numbers in a big way.

These numbers are horrendous. She's #1 on Today's Top Hits and New Music Friday, and yet she can't even crack 10M for her album?

It's unfortunate too, because some of those songs she scrapped were among her best.

It's frustrating too because, had she released this on Friday, it probably would've landed at #1 on Global Spotify and US Spotify... which would've meant more proceeds donated towards the Daisy Chain fundraiser. It would have been a win-win. There was no reason to release it like this.

Maybe over the next 24 hours? Or maybe her team came to their senses and decided to drop the song on Friday.

I still haven't listened yet. I'm holding out for the streaming or BandCamp release, but all this praise has gotten me really excited. Hopefully she releases the CD and a vinyl on her webstore, it'd be nice to own this physically!

This era has been such a success in spite of her label fumbling at every possible opportunity. She needs to switch over to a better label as soon as possible.

I really hope she releases more demos. "purple (happy version)" was such a treat.

Everybody's first mistake was assuming that Interscope had some kinda master plan by not servicing Stupid Song to radio. They're just an awful label that doesn't know what they're doing.

He's never given a particularly compelling performance in anything I've seen him in. This really shouldn't come as a surprise, even to his biggest fans.

I truly don't think she's on the soundtrack. They've never done original songs for these movies. Interscope is just a sh*tty label, that's really all there is to it.

I was a huge fan (as evidenced by my username), but she's been proving herself to be an awful person pretty consistently since 2021. Thankfully the music is awful too, so now there's no reason to be a fan.

I'd argue it was better during Guts. BIR impacted Pop radio, but only a week or two after it was released. Same goes for GHB, though they actually pulled all playlist support for that song before it impacted Pop radio which might be even worse than what they're doing now. At this point, it's too late for Stupid Song to really benefit from radio. It's peaked on streaming and, considering how poorly Pop treats her songs, it's not going to go very far. They'd be better off pushing a brand new song. IMO, she should release a couple of singles as standalones, leading up to an eventual deluxe that includes them all + a couple more bonus tracks. She said she loved Serena Joy but that it didn't fit the album, so why not release it as a standalone single?

It's insane how obviously botted his streams are.

Granted, it'd be a stretch to call The Cure and Stupid Song singles (especially The Cure, which is in the bottom half of Today's Top Hits even though it's Top 10 on Spotify), but Honeybee would be a good candidate for the next single. It's very wintery.

I know you guys don't like Katy Perry, but hoping she finds a disease is just wrong.
