ARTPOP in a bad way

Neither is particularly remembered outside of stan circles, but Love on Top is a staple.

Gaga is on tour right now and Beyoncé isn't. Applause alone accounts for almost 400k out of the 600k daily streams that Artpop gets. The song's streams clearly improved after Taylor Swift started playing it every night before the Eras Tour shows. Overall though, Beyoncé's album 4 is much more successful and better remembered.

ARTPOP considering one of its singles isn't even counted. Applause is a Gaga staple.

I don't think most of the geepee remembers "artpop" they just remember that's when Gaga got really weird and they turned away from her

I don't particularly think the general public remembers 4 as an album either honestly , but they definitely know RTW and Love on Top, and to a lesser degree songs like Dance for You and Best Thing I Never Had

I feel like both have their own cute place. Artpop is a cult fav for pop aficionados and gays, and 4, despite being a transitional album that ST overshadows, still has some B-tier classiqués from Bey's catalog.
