  1. yass at some people mentioning Mariah. A collabo would end the world. Throw Janet in the mix and it would end the universe.
  2. Streisand can do it all. That is why she is indeed the GOAT.
  3. I am so happy that Madonna is doing so well... You comment about some of her peers having died made me sad, but I love how strong Madonna is. No drugs, no questionable lifestyle choices... she takes care of her brand and herself... and that for over 40 years now. I find it so weird when high profile acts retire. I mean... they can all do music for the music itself. I don't care how much sth sells... and a certain group of established artist shouldn't either.
  4. Same. It's so weird. But they want to tell us - I think - that there is something wrong with us who like / love CII. People like that are trash... sorry my harsh words... but it's music... it's taste and you either like it or you don't. Also, speaking of the success of this album again... it did exceptionally well. I know of NO OTHER artist with such a long career who was able to get the success and STREAMS that Madonna got. NOBODY. Not even Springsteen.
  5. That's the nature of the sales era. Artists - without being truly innovative or offer sth special - stalled and faded. That has become impossible in the streaming age bc 1 or 2 songs can make an album chart forever. So, we will never see natural decline anymore... (even though they still do exist... but in a different way. Katy Perry might not set the chats on fire with new music, but Teenage Dream will somehow chart forever now). Music charts have undergone so many changes that achievements from today have become incomparable to achievements from the past. Even Taylor Swift experienced a career dip in the mid 2010s... but streaming helped her out of it. Any new release by her and artists like her (and there are so many) will continue to debut high and sustain that via streaming payola. Ask yourself just this: Why was no Madonna song from this album on TTH? Bruno Mars always debuts in the top 10/20, and other as well. Madonna has the best selling album in her debut week - globally... and the numbers on streaming were astronomical... like a streaming girl even. But Spotify did not budge... not 1 position for Miss Madonna on that biggest of all playlists. Not one. Instead it is full of music that's neither top not today and not a top hit anymore today. 75% of the music on that playlist should be replaced with something new. Madonna and acts who used to be extremely big should always be given a position on it when they release sth new. If it's Mariah or Shania or Céline or Cher or Streisand or Alanis or Sheryl Crow or ... you name them. It is so unbecoming what music charts have become and what became of album cycles and eras. Yes, CII is a fantastic era.. but in the past 10 years eras have been cut short. Madame X charting for 2 weeks and albums by other acts from the past doing the same... is not a good thing. Eras are dead after the Friday midnight release. That cannot be in the music industry's best interest... Alanis & Sheryl are both right when they said, it has become pointless to release music albums anymore... That being said... CII era has been extremely successful, EXTREMELY successful and no amount of deluded ATRL banter can change that. Most of the girls today are way past their expiration rate. Without natural decline... these artists will continue to release sub-albums and still get success. That's not something that is good... that's something that is further facilitating the degradation of what it means to be successful in 2026 and beyond.

  7. John Lennon is the most accomplished human in music ever. The alpha and omega. It's like people saying in 1996, Meredith Brooks is the new and more accomplished Madonna... in ghey terms.
  8. Just from his looks alone... I find that boy completely repulsive.
  9. A S... argued with me yesterday and claimed she got 100% of all revenue from streaming and then posted an article how the girl's music made $100 million from streaming in 2025... With big teary eyes and a gotcha smile... almost nervously smirking... the person shook his head and put his index finger on my shoulder and shoved me a step back. And then that person tilted his head to the right side a little bit and showed his teeth. I replied to that person that my fave, Mimi-Carey, then made $600 million from the Music Box era alone. (I averaged the price of a CD to $15,99, even though music albums were much more expensive in Europe and Asia than the US..., but for entertainment purposes I chose $15,99).... and then that person's face got red and he stomped his feet and threw his hands in the air and grumbled some insult at me. ... that's what we have to deal with. Such people. I thought... I am too European for this.
  10. Mariah campaigned against Donald and danced on Insta with Kerry Washington to remind everyone to go to vote and vote for liberity and freedom.. but atrl gays from the us did not listen.

I'm making a statement of my own opinion: Just a brief little reminder to help me remember. Evidently your words were merely lies Reverberating in my ears And the echo won't subside There's a deep deep loss of hope And the anger burns in me I hope you don't get no ideas about singing baby 'Cause that's the last thing anyone truly needs Your audacity is too much to be believed, so Go to stevyy on your contacts, press delete. <3

  15. CII is 2xP in my house, it has crossed 1,000 streams. It's my 10th most streamed album of 2026 (so far). Hew cares about that #112 placement in the US of A.

As someone who has seen her 3 times in concert from the front row, I can confirm that she's much more beautiful in real life. I think she looks 20 years younger than me.

I absolutely love: My Saving Grace Bringin' On The Heartbreak Sunflowers for Alfred Roy I Only Wanted You Had Your Chance Clown Yours The One Through The Rain Boy (I Need You) Lullaby 11 masterpieces.
  25. It is my understanding that Mariah released her latest album via an independent music label, not a major music label. Bad roll-out, not much interest by the artist herself and lack of reaching a bigger audience did that era in. And yet... if we look at the genre it is, HFIA was one of the top R&B albums of the year with 4 R&B hits and a Gospel hit. Maybe Dance-Pop music reaches more people than retro-70s soul and R&B & Gospel.
