Unlike the others, Mariah Carey debuted with over 1m pure copies in 1998 outside the USA and Europe...namely in Japan. She's the only female recording artist who was able to sell 1m copies in a single country outside the USA (in a single week).

Imagine listening to artist who cannot sing.
