This is completely out of context. I never called anyone that word on this forum. I wouldn't even use it here if I thought people would take it the wrong way. All I did was explain how it's actually used in my country because someone was making a blanket statement about all Argentinians. That's it. I'm from a brown-skinned family. My aunt calls me that every single day. It's not a slur where I'm from, it's normal. You can't just take a word from one country, ignore the culture behind it, and act like it means the same thing everywhere. What's actually crazy is that I'm getting in trouble for educating someone. I didn't attack anyone. I explained my own culture and now I'm being treated like I did something wrong. That doesn't make any sense. If you don't believe me, just look it up. Yeah, it is primarily used as a classist insult to people who are lower class and robbers, but you can't deny the racist undertones it has with the term implying that the color black is inferior
