and why are people saying the album is hard to digest on the first listen? theres barely anything to digest to it

after hearing it in full im unfortunately sad to say that its not what i expected. too tame, timid, full on silent. someone compared her to a librarian and someone else said the album is giving unfinished concepts and scraps. im kinda shocked it got greenlit. i know streaming has diluted the quality of modern music but this is kind of insane. the most offensive thing about it is how stale it is as a whole i guess? the writing is obviously bad but anyone whos a fan couldve told you that the second it got announced that she wrote all of it alone, the vocals are lacking, the production is stagnant. this is an overall disappointment

emma's highest high victoria's album is simply perfect mel b's debut is really good, the title track is fresh mel c has a rich catalogue geri has great great great songs and videos but this is the one for me

she did, all 4 singles peaked in the top 10, two at no 6 and two at no 3
