In the real world, Taylor has outsold Lady Gaga's entire career (worldwide + USA) with just her international sales. And it's by a margin of tens of millions of units.

As I always say, I hope she never takes her foot off their necks. It's what they deserve.

How is she still this huge after Evermore. I still get confused but I guess the demographic she must be appealing to spend serious money and find her family oriented and friendly.

The cultural phenomenon bit of her is a bit lower but she gets this niche Adele like, Barbara Streisand and Oldies recurrent sales. I need a theory how all this is possible with the last 3 albums. The previous ones were culturally huge and quality was perfection. These ones just confuse me.

Also how are other artists hitting peak cultural phenomenon like Rihanna Miley Cyrus and Beyonce but sales are just not happening. It's something that needs research and a documentary. Billie Ellish might be heading the upward trajectory route like Taylor Swift did in the 2000's to 2010's. Anyway, I stand corrected
