No, but it's actually hysterical that Showgirl has now spent more weeks at number 1 than 25. I hope everyone remembers the ESSAYS that Taylor's total numbers didn't matter in the first week. Swifties explained again and again that consumption was different now and that she'd have the last laugh as always. We patiently told dozens of users that pure sales are now front loaded for every artist and that the streaming era is more of a long game. Everyone who wants a physical copy buys them early. Slowly those OTHs fell out of these threads after their initial celebrations. Taylor stayed number 1 for MONTHS without lifting a finger while bagging her biggest single of the 2020s.

But truly no one has more egg on their face than ATRL user @Doctor Dick. Slinging every insult in the book. Saying the GP had a major problem with Taylor Swift. Now Taylor has spent more weeks at number 1 than the album he was hiding behind (a 3rd vs 12th studio album) and as many weeks as his fave's ENTIRE CAREER, including a soundtrack album (which had more weeks at number 1 than any of her studio efforts). Get in here, sis! Let's celebrate!

Last I checked, 4 million > 3.3 million and 11 > 10. Biggest album sales week in HISTORY sounds a bit better than biggest 6th week ever or whatever new goalpost this is. More weeks at number 1, too, with more on the way.

Imagine if Taylor sold it for 99¢, she sold 1.3 million for $30. We could've debuted with over 30 million!

25 did 363k for the Christmas week, it did +1m on the first week of December though probably due to Black Friday sales and everyone was getting it for their aunties as christmas gifts and then 164k for the first week of January.

Good thing she did 500k from streaming alone with just 12 tracks. Over double Mayhem's total units (14 vinyl variants alone), for instance. The 1.3 million vinyls came from just 8 variants, btw. If she took a leaf out of Gaga's book maybe we could've had a 4.5 million debut!
