Does Ava Max have any chance?

Featured Replies

For anything really - a comeback, good album, a tour? Does she still have a chance to do anything or is she over for good?

  • I think she'll be successful in the long term, if she keeps releasing. Don't Click Play was as good as her previous albums, she just needs to settle whatever career turmoil is going on in the backgrou

  • She def has another good album in her. Don't Press Play is underrated asf

  • I think she may be the only person with less of a chance than Katy tbh

I think she definitely has a chance, but she kind of needs to figure out a solid, interesting direction.

I think she should have held onto the Lady Gaga 2.0-isms longer. Her biggest success came from that and there was more to play with, more to be inspired by. And the comparisons (good and bad) would have only helped propel her name just as the comparisons to Christina and then Madonna helped align Gaga to established icons near the start of her career.

she is not going anywhere even without a smash hit.

the gays embraced her and will continue to support whatever she does next.

the real question is where is the ******* tour

Canceling the tour and all promo was crazy as hell. In retrospect, it feels like Don't Click Play didn't even happen.

Great album, though.

The Totami Legendariah always on point clap Just keep releasing and stay consistent. We are here streaming

She would need to develop an entire personality alongside an actual artistic brand that encompasses more than a bad haircut, which is not gonna happen. She has no ambition to do so and no label would have faith in her to execute a vision, even if she had one.

she always has a chance to top the katamari billboard 200 clap3

if sweet but psycho didn't put her on the map nothing will…….she's just too boring and has no personality.

i hate this question cause atp it's giving disaster she needs to release One Night for starters s:wan

I guess she still can be a Dj darling.

And release more songs like the motto

Her pop melody game is too strong to see her disappear. But I do agree that her next album has to be undeniably good: she really needs to create a Carly Rae-like following with it, so that she can sustain her career for many years to come

I think she's had more success than many, many, many other artists and she should be proud of that.... I dont think she will ever smash again and should instead work on making interesting cult classics, but thats impossible to force.

The fate of all albanian popgirls.

Tbh I didn't even know she'd released an album this year until I checked her Wiki page just now deadbanana2 It feels like the world just all agreed to drop her after 2021. Was Cirkut really the key to all her success? celestial5

I don't think that Don't Click Play is as bad as some people made it out to be. It just wasn't as solid as Diamonds and Dancefloors. I felt like several of the songs were almost great but there was just a little something missing. If she fixes that on her next album, she'll be fine. DCP wasn't so egregiously bad that she's in danger of not being able to book the Khia Stadiums for her tour.

Don't Click Play is one of the best pop releases this year. Such a good, fun album.

Looking forward to what's to come. She always delivers, despite what some may say.

Point me to any of her albums that don't have a handful of pop bangers (tho I personally think all 3 are 100% full of bangers).

Her music has always been great so I think she'll continue to deliver in that regard, she's proven she has a good ear for hits/melodies/hooks.

But sadly people are just not checking for her. Nowadays the gp wants relatability and some kind of personality, a unique brand, which she just doesn't have. If she manages to fix that and secure a small fanbase like Carly did, she'll be good.

No.

The girl has 0 personality and intrigue about her. Boring.

Tbh as other users said there's a lot of money in ripping off other artists. In this case Gaga. She just needs to find her 2010s niche

But her main problem is that she is no longer with cirkut and he was the one that was getting her all the gigs and contacts

Don't Click Play was a great album. Unfortunately it's one of those albums that people won't get on the first listen. I thought it was meh on first listen, but the more I listened to it, the more I loved it.
