Doja Cat sparks concern among fans after suspicious Twitch livestream
I see the same people failing to think critically about anything and it pisses me off. This isn't a meltdown about VIE, or music in general as some of you are insinuating. She truly seems quite depressed about a multitude of things. Feeling like a machine, constant online abuse, loneliness, insecurity. The biggest thing that broke my heart was when she brought up algorithms that are being fed to her with content she hates about herself. Just imagine that. It feels like her entire life these past years have revolved solely around her career, and thats damaging to anyone. She's probably fatigued with it all, and the upcoming US leg has brought this all to the forefront of her mind. High, drunk, or not, she was clearly projecting, and these are insecurities that had let loose whilst under the influence. On top of that, shes been vocal in the past about feeling super lonely with fame. She probably is confronted by people who are obsessed with her parasocially, or are straight up using her. I think she craves genuine connection which is obviously near impossible for someone of her status, which is harmful because I don't think Doja has any outlet minus her team, and therapist (I could be wrong though). I really hope she takes a well deserved break from the spotlight (as much as I don't want her to). She needs to put herself first.

I don't even think it's that she doesn't have drive, she just needs Rihanna treatment with writing camps because i don't think her writing skill or ear for hits is quite there, the lack of hooks and melodies on this album is crazy. She's also incredibly mismanaged and the fact her team greenlit 95% of this album is beyond me, such a pivotal moment in her career being botched this bad with lacklustre and in some respect straight up bad material.- Tyla - 'A*POP'
this is a steep decline from her debut, and from a very very promising EP (which was far far better than this, minus IS IT) very disappointed, i was rooting for her so hard- Tyla - 'A*POP'
