I really hope for the 20th anniversary they re-release the album with a bunch of its outtakes. Like this, Blueberry Kisses, Retro Physical, Glitter & Grease, Reloaded... I could go on but that'd be such a collapse.

She has repeatedly talked about what she wants her first musical to be for a long time now so I believe she'll make her debut as a writer/composer like Cyndi instead of a producer like JHud. She seems to be in no rush to EGOT.

she was in London doing promo for the song the day it came out. I went to the Langham super early and caught her just as she was leaving to the BBC she took pics with everyone, it lasted 0.0002 seconds and the pic is lowkey chopped but I was so happy

then the pack of eff ay gees ran across the street to the BBC where we saw her come in and leave

and THEN we heard she was going to be at another radio in Soho, so everyone started running again like crazy lmao it was so chaotic

Looking back on it, Perfect Illusion is great. I do remember being so put off by the entire thing, but I still chewed it all up and swallowed it like a good Little Monster. This woman really had us out here buying a pseudo country album after years of waiting for an ARTPOP followup. One thing about Mother is you never know what you'll get next.
