I find it funny that people only knew Gaga has an Emmy nom after scouring a PDF file of the Sports Emmy nominations and ultimately won it, while we were sure The Dead Dance is a shoe in nomination, but failed to win.

She and her team were smart af for booking that gig and submitting and securing that. The Primetime Emmy voters seem to have a permanent axe to grind against her, much like the GF Grammys.

Although tbf, TDD isn't the strongest contender but considering the field and what has won previously and what ended up winning yeah, nod and smile.

I'd have said maybe her first Primetime win after all is reserved for an acting stint down the line, whether lead, supporting, or guest, but we still have the Mayhem Ball film.

It was their way of trying to force her into some TV role. Gaga said NO, I skipped to the big screen and I will get my EMMY in other ways.
