Apparently MAYHEM had a bigger 3rd day than Petals 3rd day. I always kind of seen the fandoms as sister fandoms, not that they really like each other but both can be insanely parasocial and I swear liddos and ariantors are always finding something to hate on, whereas a lot of other fandoms their fav can do no wrong. Also both Gaga and Ari are theatre kids, actors and I think they've had similar struggles which is what made Rain On Me so special for them.

My post came off a little shady but I love Ari and want the best for her. I'm glad she has the resources to take a break and prioritise her health. I was just taking a different approach and looking at the pr of this because I have nothing to add to the conversation regarding her health.

You just don't like Gaga and are letting your bias make you look stupid. Everyone has explained it to you.. If she is SINGING over a backing track that does not equal lip syncing.

That's a backing track used during some of the more intense parts of her show that she will sing over, she's not lip syncing. Gaga's level of breath control while singing and dancing is unheard of. It's really only Gaga and Bey who can do this and even still Bey is known to use pre-recorded vocals often during these parts. The only time I can recall something happening in regards to lip syncing with Gaga was the first night of The Monster Ball 2.0 where she performed Telephone for the first time and the studio version of the song played the entire time and you couldn't hear her sing once. Fans boiled it down to an audio/mic issue because there were multiple technical issues throughout that first show. Kinda like what happened during Abracadabra at night 2 of Coachella but this time I guess they were less prepared for a mic failure.

I am underwhelmed by the album overall but I love Kiss Me so much, she should remove the intro and remix it with someone. It's gorgeous

She was such a hitmaker. There's a void in the music industry without her releasing hit after hit. It's interesting to think about what recent hit songs may have been hers had she not retired. I assume some recent stuff from Beyoncé since we know she has massive writing camps and I did think some music on Ren/CC such as Cuff It, Texas, Bodyguard, Levi Jeans were her attempt at making songs that sound like hits which was something she wasn't necessarily interested in before now. I mean they quite literally pitched her voice up on THIQUE so she sounds identical to Rih. Rihanna probably would have worked with Amy Allen so maybe Olivia Dean's So Easy (To Fall In Love), maybe Sabrina's Tears/Taste/PPP, Luther or APT

His comeback was lazy, very Ed Sheeran coded. If he spent so much time away you'd think he'd come up with something fresh. The Romantic is the type of album you'd release if you were doing yearly releases, the quality was not there.

She's always going to be an activist even if we don't see it in this form but if she can't feel safe enough to sing the national anthem without having to wear a bulletproof vest then I've come to learn that under Trumps America I'd rather she not do stuff like this anymore, the right have always been funny about her and we can't have her doing The Dead Dance against her will.

They couldn't even get Lily Rabe or Taissa Farmiga back. Wednesday was cute for a little cameo or whatever but she's more than this and this spot feels beneath her. She's not a TV actor, only a good HBO miniseries where she is the lead would suffice.

I don't even know if I want Gaga to be in AHS 13, Ryan and that show have become such a mess.

In the Zane Lowe interview she said it was possible we would get new music this year it just depends on how the writing process goes. I reckon she said that with confidence because she knew we were getting the DWP2 music regardless and I also think by that point she'd worked on an Abel collab because of the rumours and him showing up to her show but still 7 studio albums in 18 years, she loves taking her sweet ass time so I figure the earliest we will see something LG8 related would be mid 2027 and even that feels like wishful thinking.

And what would be the diagnosis if you haven't had a hit in 15 years period?

I'm actually here for a hiatus. She's kind of the new Adele, disappears from the face of earth until she has something to say. I don't like an artist who oversaturates the market just because they can. Even someone like Charli, I appreciate her as an artist but I almost don't want my fav to create that quickly. I want everything to be top tier, undeniable and have an actual reason for existing. Gaga creates entire worlds around her projects and is a chameleon, people come to Gaga to expect the unexpected, it's her strength and I want her to take the time to develop that next big evolution. MAYHEM, HQ, DWP2 was already a lot. Luckily they all served different purposes, but even DWP2 music needed better quality control. In Gaga's case it seems a hiatus hasn't affected her, you would think the 5 year break between Chromatica and MAYHEM would have had severe repercussions but it clearly did not. That said it better not be another 5 year break from music, 2 years max please. I'll even be kind and give her 2 years from when Requiem released, so something before May 2028.
