Amazing! But this is the type of song that has to be listened to while watching the MV! I don't think the rest of the album will sound like this unfortunately, but I'm glad we got this either way!

I guess time will tell but I feel like whatever research project she's in currently will be her main thing for a long time. And I never said surprise releases are trendy, it's just what my intuition tells me she'll pull next.

She's releasing LG8 faster than she released Mayhem after Chromatica for sure, but it's still not coming before late 2028 (and even that is an optimistic prediction.) Also calling it… the next album is probably a surprise release or something like Miley is doing currently (announcement today, release in 2 weeks).

I love the album but I'm very out of the loop with what she's up to overall. What's next for Hilary? Is she touring? Releasing something else soon?

You feel that way because 1) you're getting older, obviously and 2) for some reason people started catalogue-streaming rather than discovering new releases (MJ movie, JB Coachella hype, Katy Perry's 2010 hits etc.) so this feeling of a year-defining hit collection has disappeared

It is catchier yes, but this can be said about most of the hits from that era tbh. Evacuate The Dancefloor also comes to mind, the pre-chorus is infectious!
