Gar went megaviral because of her fat p***y.

The way out of all the late 00s popstars Gaga has the best combination of catalogue streams and current interest after Taylor. She's come insanely far since her streaming poison days. I hope she doesn't take too long to release LG8, there's so much momentum.

Everyone else either has a weaker catalogue than her on streaming (Beyoncé), much smaller interest in newer releases (Lana, Katy etc.), both (Kesha, Nicki) or doesn't release music at all (Rihanna). I guess her and Adele are toe-to-toe, depending on how each one's new respective era goes: if Adele releases another 30 and Gaga another success like Mayhem, I'd say Gaga is firmly above.

"Lead" is an original but it actually gets some push and a music video, this time piano driven kinda bruce springsteen

Rest of the songs can vary like harlequin did: jazz, traditional pop, ballads, rock… anything she wants to put out with her jazz band (although there are some covers shes done that deserve a studio release, like Someone To Watch Over Me, La Vie En Rose…) Extra points for a piano version of Bad Romance or other hit.

Tbh I'd rather have a solo written jazz album than another album full of covers from the great american songbook.

Id love both but i also like the idea of a second ".5" album because it gives her the chance to play around with genres, takes the pressure away of writing, and makes it a little more forgiving in terms of numbers and charts.

No side projects until LG8. TDWP2 was enough. She shouldn't burn out her hype with releases that will turn people away.

A half era full of ARUTW-like ballads and then go full-blown requiem for LG8 would make it a 1,2, Punch type of an era

LG 7.5: Stripped and ballad-focused ( like 8 songs max) Q2 2027, One single from LG7.5 with a release in Q1 2027

LG8: Hyper Industrial, Neo-Futurist concept like Requiem, with Rock elements. - Q1 2028

Then the official single for LG8 in Q4 2027 (If the single for LG7.5 gets too big and successful, this can be pushed to 2028)

It's like Joanne and Chromatica all over again but with more precise intention and perfection!

I like the idea of somewhat separating commercial-focused or GP-friendly songs in order to offset the pressure and preserve the integrity of the official album.

But then again this is Gaga's team, so she'll just mush everything into one album.

Well, did Die With A Smile, Harlequin, and Joker burn out the hype for MAYHEM? The whole idea of an artist needing to hide for long periods of time is such a myth when the biggest artist in the world has beem releasing 20+ songs prectically every year since 2019. If gaga is artistically inspired right now "hype" and numbers shouldn't stop her from releasing either way.

It's hard streaming it all by myself

I was relistening to The Fame and I was wondering why it doesn't sounded dated. A lot of the work Akon was doing with other artists sounds soulless and empty and even most of RedOne's productions aged poorly. It really is a testament to Gaga's talent that she was able to enhance the work of her producers at such a young age due to her musical knowledge and talent. Just Dance technically should've ended up aging like milk like this song is such a prime example, Evacuate The Dancefloor even sounds dated to me maybe not as bad but Gaga's music always sounded expensive whereas a lot of the dance music around this time sounded almost like unfinished demos.

That would be perfect! The TOTAL MAYHEM concept was right there. EP with the sound of DWAS Requiem could be a huge success for her.

I wouldn't mind no tour either, she just finished the MAYHEM Ball. Just an album, a couple of well done music videos and maybe some special performances. Releasing around Halloween time could be great.

When talent, creativity, and star power all come together, the end result is bound to be timeless

Not trying to play moral high ground but at some point I hope liddos will just let the Katy stuff go. She's already gone, dead, buried.
