I can't remember her ever formally announcing a project and releasing a single to a project that never came to fruition (with a full press release at that)... but there's always a first time, I guess.

The closest example I can think of is probably multi-week #1 "Check On It" and album cut "Woman Like Me" not appearing on the Pink Panther OST, but that was seen by all as a baffling move in an era where every artist had some random records sitting around that could fit on a soundtrack album.

My mom passed away last week. I know I mentioned her wanting to hear a Beyonce rock album as she has anticipated it for years, and I'm so sad she didn't get to hear it before she passed (if that's wha

she's def gonna resurrect Halo as a rock ballad on the next tour and I'm ready for it.

just like she did cuntrified versions of her hits during CCT!

ADÉLA referencing Pretty Hurts and Formation in her new video.. I can see why they say Beyoncé is white like look at her daughters..

Thee 2026 version of B'Day featuring Beysus's mature vocals (I pray every night for this to happen!) is going to be the best album of 2026. So far, I've only liked two albums released this year.

Those are the absolute worst options to include in such an epic song (except Eminem)

Well, young black pop/R&B girls would get raked over the coals if they referenced Beyoncé tbh…

Next year will be the 30 year anniversary of Destiny's Child's debut single.

I was just thinking about other artists careers, and where they were 30 years into their careers. It would make an interesting thread tbh

30 years into their careers:

Madonna 2012: Released MDNA that has sold over 2 million albums WW, headlined the superbowl halftime show, and toured with a tour grossing 300 million (420 million with inflation)

Mariah 2020: Released The Rarities, hosted an Apple + Christmas Special, and released a NYT #1 bestseller Memoir

Celine 2011 (released her debut french single in 1981 - her English debut was 1990) : Began her second Vegas residency, which was very successful, running until 2019 with over 400 shows, grossing around 300 million dollars

Chaka Khan 2008: Broadway debut in The Color Purple, won a GRAMMY for Funk This, and toured festivals

Diana Ross 1994: Performed at the World Cup and missed her penalty kick, released a compilation album that hit #1 in the UK

Aretha Franklin 1990: A today show interview with Joan Rivers, and nominated for 3 GRAMMYs

i could go on, but it's interesting to see where everyone was 30 years in, gives you perspective on Beyonce's career.

And At 30 years, Destiny's Child will have their former manager exploiting their brand by releasing a passively-approved cash grab project of rejected remixes gaycat6

I love Fatima, but have always been mad at her for this lol.

In reality, I literally get it and may even agree with a bit of it, but I come from the school of more is more.

Granted, we know Bey had some ish going on with her leg; there is a magic that makes Bey who she is.

I'm all for dialing back to preserve her long-term ability, but diluting too much takes away from Beyonce being "Beyonce".

RWT found its stride and was amazing by its climax, but we're in collective agreement that something felt different (in general and with her) and took time to get into. CCT (which Fatima's team did not do, btw) felt like the ever-so-slight incline of this same Fatima ethos (even in her absence).

I agree the rigors of performing all-out (and the pressure to keep up with that standard) are what have left us without MJ, Prince, Whitney, and more. But, the reality is, if MJ were still with us, the expectation would be for him to dance down, Moonwalk, and be MJ with understood acceptance of him scaling back a lil with age. With some artists, like MJ, Bey, and similar, it just is what it is.

I can make peace with Bey pulling back a lil, but on two conditions: 1) she continues to GO FOR IT in her visuals. There are no excuses when having the benefit of cuts and edits. 2) On stage, there needs to be a better dispersal between her laid-back and all-out moments. There will continue to be no excuse for her doing so little during key UPTEMPO songs (like BMS, Cuff It, Bodyguard). I'd prefer she shorten the show for a tighter all-out experience than sitting on sofas (that Levi's Jeans setup was wild in the worst way) in order to pace out a stretched-out runtime.
