I actually believe a lot of the album's poor performance and reception was because of the Perez Hilton drama. Even she acknowledges this. He really put a hate campaign on her that ruined all of the album's momentum. Glad he's even more irrelevant now

I was just about to say the same lol. Like her last four albums (although unfairly and overdramatically considered her worst albums) still all debuted with over 100k+ except MX, which still hit #1 mind you. Like people need to stop rewriting history that Madonna was crying tears because the chronically online portion of her fanbase cries about her last few albums being "trend chasing" when she meant to do that because she wanted to appeal to more people.

I think back then the studio key was too high for what she felt comfortable singing live in. On the new tour they lowered the key to actually fit her voice and I think she's really been enjoying this whole tour
