Hey so I really don't care for the live version of Drunk In Love (aside from the Dubai riff). I mean not only are Jay Z's verses are atrocious, but the chorus can feel grating after a few rounds. So for his sake, if he/they are actually performing, I rather them not perform that at all. Welcoming Bey to the halftime stage during Bonnie and Clyde though That song has already been taking off on streaming as of late, so they might as well take the opportunity to make it an even bigger classic.

You Don't Know My Name is definitely worthy of the top 5, but she has so many more classics that can take up at least 3 spots overall. I mean "Fallin" alone as her debut single became an instant classic. I can let some of her other gems slide, but not including Fallin or If I Ain't Got You is just odd. Not including Be Without you by MJB is also weird. I also find it funny that Single Ladies of all songs is thrown in there. Like why not Crazy In Love instead? That falls more in line with R&B.

I guess she just feels her "worth" is exceptionally high. Given all the discourse around her and how influential and polarizing she's become just adds to that effect. The security she requires is a lot more critical than most celebrities for example. Like she's become a historical figure in music that goes beyond the vapidness of most pop stars of the moment in time, so whatever she's overcharging now can be sold for A LOT more later down the line.

I feel like it's a tad titti but cooler when an old song smashes. Especially if the old song was lil moderate hit back then, or a non-single. If it's a hit from the past that's smashing, then the new song wins.

I feel like that's the case for Creole bc there's a head voice she uses that's not on the original unreleased version. I feel like the other two are pitched down tho.
