all day at work I've been blurting out "I'm taking up his tIiiIiiiimme" I need it injected in my blood stream. I fear nothing from the CCWT has made me as wet as that little bit of vocals.

That **** she pulled the other night gagged my soul. Like I'm genuinely obsessed with those vocals and effortless stage presence. She sounded great when she performed that with Jay 20 years ago, but now she sounds even better.

If > Resentment As far as B'Day goes. I never really understood why she paid it absolute dust or why it's so disliked, I always thought the delivery was so much less grating than Resentment (the studio version)

Yea when was the last time she did over 15M daily streams on Spotify? That's a very solid effect for just surprise releasing an old, leaked track. She was barely doing 9M last I checked
  5. Love this for us, now release A Woman Like Me on streaming!

Chile I just heard Delresto for the first time in a while on my AM radio and I really do not care for it. I like it when she gets experimental, but not too much you know? I never cared for anything too experimental to begin with (ie Bjork or FKA type stuff) but like? leave it to the artists that aren't star rated vocalist to play around like that. When it's Bey, it just feels like a vocal tease that leads no where. Haunted is the extent of what I like to see her do. Something sexy, sultry and dark. Alien Superstar too. My House is good too. She pulls off aggressive vibes really well. Delresto just feels random and oddly constructed.

  10. BDay serves bop after bop. It was and sounds a bit rushed and needs some remastering, but it's still a vivacious album. Kitty Kat, Freakum, Get Me Bodied, Upgrade U, Deja Vu, Green Light… she was creating her own genre with that track list. Dangerously in Love has the best singles/videos for sure. A very mature and impressive R&B album for her age at the time. IASF is just a solid pop record with some major highs alongside a handful of forgettable lows.
  11. To an extent, yes. I'm a hag tho. I don't find pop music as exciting or entertaining anymore, but I do find plenty of other new music to enjoy.
  12. That's bc the average Oklahoman survives off fast food and dollar stores. These are insecure ppl who can't bear the thought of having to pay more for a burger in a world where service workers make almost as much or more than them. This is why they're such a broke, fat irrelevant state to begin with.
  13. As many of us tf know, not every pop star has the amount of skill or long lasting talent to reinterpret their catalog in ways that Beyoncé can. Crazy in Love for example is a timeless pop song that has been revamped in the best of ways by the legend herself. so I must ask ATRL. Which live version of Crazy In Love do you think is the best? - While you're here you can also enjoy this perfectly executed slay!

I went and saw Death Becomes Her on Broadway the other night and Michelle looked and sounded great. I'm so glad I got the chance to see her do her thing and do it well after all these years.
  15. I wanted Nelly so bad in middle school, ngl.

We should at least be excited for a darK album for winter atp. Yall hyped up a summer album way too much. Think better, think harder.
  17. Apart from Anti, there's really not a whole lot of women in Hip Hop and R&B in from the 2010s that are particularly thriving when it comes to recurrent streams in the current decade. Songs like Love On Top and Drunk In Love are literally among some of the most successful R&B songs of that, but that's constantly being minimized in the name of the daily streams of smash hits that were catered to pop radio. Rihanna is a different story all together bc she still catered to pop radio for the first half of the 2010s decade with dance pop and edm whereas Beyoncé practically abandoned pop radio altogether for much of the decade, so don't agree with you there. I mentioned timeline relativity bc the advantage Bey initially had on Spotify had a lot to do with her catalog from the 2000s being so strong among millennials. It's the kind of effect Gaga is having now with Gen Z (nearly 10 years later).
  18. You're just dense af 100M streams for a slew of deep cuts is an indication that ones discography is being consumed in its entirety as opposed to gloating on about an album being so much "bigger" bc 1 or 2 singles are carrying more than half of the albums total streams.
  19. "Nothing holds up for Beyoncé" Sweetie, Gaga was literally 5 year into her career when she put out ARTPOP (550k daily streams). I won't even get into Joanne or Chromatic, but Beyoncé was either on her 1st solo album after 5 years with Destiny's Child or on IASF after 5 years of being solo. However you want to measure it, that's 10 years of "holding up" before Gaga even came onto the scene. Like yall can gloat on about Gaga having bigger, more global hits, but we're not going to sit here and lie about nothing holding up on Bey's end just bc her daily streams aren't being carried by a handful of massive streaming hits like Gaga. Mind you, Bey has far more tracks with over 100M streams and has the same amount of songs doing 200K or more daily as Gaga. Many of those songs with over 100M come from the 2010s decade. Nuance and timelines related to streaming is absolutely LOST on some of yall.
  20. Baby Boy is one of my most streamed Beyonce singles. From the song to the music video, it's a stunning piece of art, especially around this time of year. Her harmonies in the bridge are gorgeous. Crazy In Love, MM&I, Naughty Girl, Be With You, Yes, Speechless.. and to think she was only 20-21 when she recorded all of that for one album.
  21. Naughty Girl is the better song imo. Her vocals are gorgeous on it. Slave is the more iconic music video tho. The choreo alone >> It was obviously a much better time for pop music then
  22. This is more of just "my favorite" more than it is her most impactful or iconic.
  23. Tbh, Shakira… but she's been around a lot longer than most so it's not as much of a surprise.
  24. Imagine defending and supporting Kesha while she's down just to point, laugh and push her back down when she tries to get back up. It must be ATRL!
  25. Oh, please. I clearly said peers. IE the kind of beef between Katy Kats and Monsters had during their primes before Katy's career took a nosedived and Beyoncé became the new target around 2018/19 when it was most convenient. Unless you consider Madonna one of Gaga's peers, then it's no wonder so many of yall like to drag Beyonce into lanes that aren't her own. There's also nothing wrong with having a classic album taking up nearly or more than half your total streams. Gaga has a bigger, more global album than any Beyoncé album and that's fine. It's the fact that people insinuate that Bey's discography is suddenly "forgotten" bc she doesn't have a streaming giant on par with one of the pop girlies who debuted and peaked between the transition of the digital era into the streaming era.
