I think it's almost impossible for her to win the following year that Bad Bunny won... I don't know why but I feel like it's going to take a while before another album with a language that's not english to win

She needs to submit MORNING DEW (DONK) to the upcoming Grammys. If Black Parade was able to snag up to four nominations, Morning Dew can definitely do the same.

Might actually win the R&B categories.

that band only having 147 monthly listeners and barely 1k streams per song alone shows us that this is another invention pulled out of the ass of bored twitter hive and not some intentional TS style clue

Anyone else think the B'Day thing may potentially be a bait and switch?

We still don't know the setup: is she about to go all out with vinyls, re-recordings, bonus tracks, merch galore, etc, or is this more of a digital drop?

I find the fact she's being militant with not posting on IG quite interesting. We all know she generally treats her grid like premium real estate. Her holding back on posting feels both deliberate and as a precursor to something...big.

It could, of course, could be whatever she's readying for the B'Day reissue; but wouldn't it be the ultimate gag if we were all led to brace for that only for it to be nothing more than a quick lil digital drop for the fans and it's actually all systems go for Act III?

After all, there few ways she can actually surprise us these days. This would be...that.

Realistically, the overall venture probably is a strategic space-filler for what was supposed to be the Act III era and a palate cleanser from CC. At best, given the uptempo edge of B'Day, it can also function as a sound-scene-setter for the Rock-Funk that will be Act III.

Am I the only one slightly annoyed at the B'Day thing?

I'll inevitably enjoy whatever she has up her sleeve, but if she really throws her relative all behind it, all it means is that we are much further way from Act III than we think.

Because, economically speaking, she is not selling a B'Day vinyl, merch etc in September and expecting the Hive and the masses to flood buy Act III in October. Hell, even December. Anything can happen and I trust they are being guided by data way more reliable than conjecture. Still, if going by logic + economics + fact, she just doesn't have that rabidrush-buy-everything-she-drops fanbase like a TS or Ariana, Act III giving next year if this B'Day thing is indeed...a thing.

The only possible upside being that I still feel the tour is next year. As such, we may be in for a condensed/maximum impact Formation-Lemonade-album/visual-tour rollout. Which IMO feels better than her: 'drop, set, forget, then tour a year later' approach to Acts I and II.

We'll see.
