Clean Bandit f/ Chlöe & Omah Lay - "Company"
One of the hardest workers in the biz! Never without a feature. She just needs a song to debut on the Hot 100 or UK charts and album 3 will be released... fingers crossed.

I'm excited for that record to take on a new life. The Selena estate holds her music very close and it holds potential. Pretty much all of the added tracks on this project are slow-burners that give "Morning Dew (Donk)" a little more time to grow. The Maluma track, Selena Q track, and her new Pharrell track might be the next "Dance For You" (format-exclusive radio staples) if they continue to gain a foothold throughout the fall.

Scratch that. Wikipedia has it at 120:01.... but Apple Music has it at 119 minutes and change. What is the truth? I guess no Eagles or Garth Brooks-esque RIAA certification double-dipping this time, if 119 minutes+ is the reality.

Beyoncé fails to stabilize on Spotify with new music, why?
I just read online that the album is trending to re-chart at #10 on the Billboard 200. Born This Way (10th Anniversary)? - #162 Debut.

Maybe Fantasia? Not too many girls had the big, brassy vocals at the time, and it doesn't fit the Amerie or Brandy template. Also a smidge too Urban for Christina Aguilera and Kelly Clarkson.

Beyoncé - 'B'Day (20th Anniversary edition)'
She has 6 wild cards that could shift things up a little bit (ordered by most to least realistic outcome): The release of the 4K videos before Wednesday An Instagram post explaining that there are new tracks on the project too The B'Day Freemasons Remixes added to the project "Ring The Alarm" (Spanglish Mix) goes viral on TiKTok and they add it. "A Woman Like Me," "World Wide Woman," and "If" added to the digital tracklist. Original (not pitched down) Versions of "Back Up," "Lost Yo Mind," and "Creole" released to streaming

Just went to see the B'Day 20 digital deluxe edition length. The spirit of Mathew Knowles still lives within lol. Still want "World Wide Woman," "If," and "A Woman Like Me" to sweeten the deal and increase the chances of another song taking off from the full album, but I'm glad she's playing the game.

As we saw with the songs of this B'Day era, I don't think that track (or "Roc") will be released as they found home with other artists: "Roc" with Rich Harrison's girl group RichGirl, and "Body Rock" as the charting debut solo single (renamed "Bring It Home") of Silena Murrell, a former fiance of Scott Storch who was also an early member of LeToya and LaTavia's group Anjel.

Beyoncé - 'B'Day (20th Anniversary edition)'
I love it. It reminds me of the records we used to clean the house to growing up. Showing love to a fellow Texas legend? The cherry on top.

No. This repackaging concept seems like the only way we can get the unreleased tracks on streaming platforms, and this project has so many good ones: Control Forever To Bleed Stop Sign I'm Alone Now Slow Love Beat My Drum (unreleased Sean Garrett record) Roc Black Culture Erotic (unreleased) Waiting Have You Ever Made Love In The City? (unreleased Rico Love-written record that Beyoncé cut and left in the vault) (I selfishly also want an edition with a run-time above 120 minutes... and this two disc concept with so many loosies is our best chance at getting double certifications.)

Beyoncé - 'B'Day (20th Anniversary edition)'
I was reading up on Selena Quintanilla yesterday and was floored to see she was killed at 23 (for some reason I thought she was in the 27 club). Like Aaliyah, it's tough to not imagine what could have been when people die so young.

I would love it if the video delay is because she worked out a last-minute deal with Sony Pictures (North America) & 20th Century Fox (Globally) to get "A Woman Like Me" on the project and its DVD-bonus features performance on her official YouTube Channel... and her team has been working overtime to get it upped to 4K to match the others. Glasses might be too rosy, but that (and maybe the original, non-pitched versions of "Back Up," & "Lost Yo Mind,") would be a great Monday surprise to keep morale/streams high.

SHE'S HOT AS A STOVE
The way her label thought a rip-off of Kelis, Ciara, AND Beyoncé's "Ring The Alarm" was her best chance at a hit lead single (with "When I Grow Up" in the room) is most troubling to me. Sidebar: T.I. allegedly wanted to do more with Nicole after shooting this video... and we can tell.

Kelly Rowland soars to #17 on UK iTunes
You know what to do, Kelly.... Drop this 'Dria' project and then go to Europe April 2027, book a few weeks in the studio with David Guetta / Afrojack / Clean Bandit / StarGate / Calvin Harris / Nile Rodgers / Giorgio Moroder / Starrah / KAMILLE / Nija Charles / Carla Marie Williams / Tayla Parx / The-Dream and make history. If this evolves into the companion project to the actual Donna Summer biopic soundtrack Kelly **should** star in... so be it.

Beyoncé selling $950 empty box
It's the way she could resolve this so easily by taking a page out of her husband's book and giving the purchasers of this box the option to receive the remaining vinyls she might release moving forward free of charge (with free shipping as well). Have them opt in to a "complete my vinyl collection" button on her website, and you receive the following projects when they come out: I Am... Sasha Fierce Dreamgirls OST 4 Everything Is Love Beyonce: Live @ Glastonbury The Lion King: The Gift Destiny Fulfilled Destiny's Child (1998 Debut Album) Act III (TBA)
