I think it's an interesting exercise because it's a track from an album that she/her team deemed strong enough to have been a single, but not strong enough to have been released before the others though in some cases it's from a re-release.

Not that she would have promoted it but BODYGUARD should have been the summer single and then LEVII'S JEANS the autumn, final single timed with the Levi's campaign.

she really had a perfect breezy summer smash waiting to happen with even a minimal radio/playlist push, and she just completely wasted it

the fact that it's still like the 3rd most streamed song on the album even without being a collab or going viral multiple times like TYRANT... the public was ready for that vibe!

Performing an unreleased track we all assumed was going to be a single, get a full video, launch the era, precede the album... the confusion of this time was kind of hilarious tbh. No one can match her chaotic trolling energy. Like, why do this this, the night ST dropped with her saying "enjoy the surprise!" as people left the concert venue, the whole "you are the visuals baby"... I think only the pre-ANTI era has matched her game in this aspect.

I don't think anything on Cowboy Carter would've worked without some proper push, and she wasn't gonna do it either way.

Not ready enough apparently. Unless a song develops a viral moment (Cuff It) or happens to be an A-list collab (II Least Wanted), they won't push a song.

I'm still surprised she included so much Renaissance on the tour but it was justified simply because it's the best album of all time.

Do we know why I Am… Sasha Fierce has so many versions? Standard and deluxe double cd versions, and then the platinum version and then it was rereleased again as another deluxe 1cd version featuring Video Phone and Poison (but not all of these Platinum edition tracks).

standard and deluxe at release was such a normal thing back in the day

platinum was exclusive thing for europe for a while then released in some other places, meanwhile usa got above and beyonce (japan platinum edition is the best version, 2cd + dvd with all the remixes from above and beyonce)

then the deluxe in one disc reissue was done to include poison bside and videophone with gaga and cause she had a lawsuit in japan over the art used inside the original versions releases

Ehhh I get it, album track, pushing CC more.... the real travesty is not including the lead single of Renaissance, a multiweek #1, on the CC tour.

I'm sorry, but the way Break My Soul keeps getting outstreamed by non-charting Katy Perry singles and Marina & the Diamonds album tracks will never not be funny

And btw, that wouldn't be happening to All Up In Your Mind if it had been released as the lead
